no it isnt him who got 2nd rank in iit jee 2002 2003. however i know who that guy is … hes a friend of mine . and he didnt got berkeley . why the hell would he goto berkeley when got 2nd rank in IITJEE man ?

my cousins name is varun jain.

anybody kno him

no one has got any idea about international loans??..the reason iam so desprate to know about them is that they provide the FULL cost of attending a college in US…thats a lot…and u get a long time to repay it…it becomes very convenient for us as there will be least pressure on our parents to provide the money…

Do you really feel confident about having the burden of a loan amounting to 200000 $?

Not an advisable thing in my opinion.

Anyway, many people take loans from US provdiers like SAllieMae which can give you a loan provided you are atleast 18 at the time of applying (I am 17 and my application got rejected) and that you have a U.S citizen as a co-signor.The interest rate as of now is ~6%-but it changes evry year I think.

abduke i don’t think it’ll be that big a burden…i believe that if i am earning, it’ll be a greater burden on me to repay my parents contribution as soon as possible than to repay the banks…also if u get into a very good college (without fin aid) which u can’t afford, then the loans can help u a great deal…

i dont think i would be going to an ivy if i didnt get any fin aid … irrespective of how good or bad the loans are.

maybe the loans would be an absolute last ditch effort… not relying on them as of now.

What i meant was- it is not worth going to a US college if that involves you taking out a crore worth of loans. There’s no guarantee that you are going to snag a hot-shot high paying job in the USA or even a H1B visa right after you graduate.

Im assuming of course-that you require aid and are thinking about solutions to pay for colleges that dont give out money.if you are in this category, then my advice is to simply drop those all those colleges from your list. They are not worth it.
If on the other hand, you are rich enough to afford the full cost and simply want to assume the burden on yourself rather than your parents, go for it.
