<p>one advice : spend a lil less time on CC. i know its hard, virtually impossible, but plz try. it may just help u increase ur score.</p>
<p>After reading Ben Golub’s remark, I m feeling a bit OK.
he wrote “ronty007 – especially for International students, the verbal reasoning scores matter much less. If you do well on the other parts, bad verbal scores (and writing, and the like) will not hurt you unless they are TRULY terrible, like 400. Even then, with a decent TOEFL score you are in good shape.”</p>

I think my 89 in English in XIIth CBSE exam will save me from being dumped directly.</p>
<p>OUCH ronty…sorry to say man but u better boost ur score by around 300-400 points for a decent shot at top unis. </p>
<p>I dunno much abt ACT but many times ppl who fare poorly on SAT score well on ACT because the format is a little different. Good luck!</p>

<li>mid-yr reprt</li>
</ol>
<p>is it ok if i get it filled up by one of my school co-ordinators</p>
<p>Mid-yr report is not for international Students(as stated on MIT’s paper application form)</p>

<p>guys, last time on SAT II writing i got a 640, with 70/80 on MC and 6 on the essay well now if i get a high score on the essay and low on MC, will they look at the two highest?</p>

for the couselor thing …it can be filled by ur class teacher or coordinator or anyone who has access to ur grades and school marks officially…no prob there</p>

<p>Very gud and balanced list i wud say…dont worry coz recent yr trends show that Poor writing and lit scores can be overlooked even here if ur other factors are fine

This time for a website.

<p>ronty…good list, but i would say that it would be better if u shortened it a little…for example, if u r plannin on majorin in engg i would suggest that u remove WUSTL, Darthmouth, Cornell, UPenn from ur list as these universities dont have stellar engg programs…again that depends on what you’re majorin in…</p>
