<p>Cornell has a great CS and ECE program. UPenn’s Engg is not bad, but its cross school courses (esp. from Wharton) makes the University desirable. Dartmouth has a good Computer Science department too.
WUSTL is not so good for Engg…but still, it offers a lot of Fin Aid.
Basically, I m interested in ECECS.
ACT is offered in Mussorie, New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.</p>
<p>I’d recommend college board’s SAT books, Barrons, Pton review and Kaplan… and if you still dont make it… :-/</p>
<p>well the competition is organised by City Montessori School, Lucknow.
Its an annual competition but useless now as its only for school going students and all of us will pass out of school this year.</p>
<p>Although, there is still one competition which they organise called Macfair sometime in August. This is also for school goers, but as the registration takes place before hand most schools bring their recent passouts (eg. we guys for 2006) as the competition has events like Robot Display and no one really cares or gets to know about the passouts (actually they know it but ignore the fact because almost every school brings some passouts).So maybe you can try your hand there if you take an year off.</p>
<p>P.S. one advice though this fact stated does not mean you go barking around that you are a passout if u ever go to the comp.</p>

<p>dont need to i wud say … concentrate in sat2 as they may be even helpful… try getting excellent scores there… Also ur toefl score is fine … and maths is awesome…
If u wanna study science or engineeering … dont retake as maths can giv u some advantage here already …</p>

<p>The point is that this yr the Indian Thread did not get that many of participants and ones who were regular are only max 3-4 … so in all no huge participation…in pre yrs there were atleast 9-10 active ppl here who discussed stuff and chattered …but now things are changing… i see more indians in College Admission than new ones here…</p>
