It is true that I have been to IITs of Chennai and Mumbai in 2002 and 2004 for some courses, studies and works. This fact has been clearly presented in all my applications to all the universities. </p>
<p>About the address in the Website
When my friends had put my school website then, I was at iit mumbai doing a course and hence included those addresses, and the websites’ pages were not updated since. In the initial excitement of the launch of the site developed my classmates (and some of my seniors), I had given that address (since I was there then), and it remained so ever on the site since.</p>
<p>So, that’s the clarification that you were looking for.</p>

<p>Since when did IIT start offering courses to NON-IIT-JEE cleared High school students !!! </p>
<p>It is impossible - no IIT has any such system ------ I have verified from the sites as well!!!</p>
<p>No graded course is offered to non-IIT students in IITs - man even MIT doesnt give graded courses to outsiders — even In IIT, they dont allow other college students to even attend their classes , and you claim to have attended a full course in high school!!!</p>
<p>I dont wish to offend anyone but I’m dont fully believe your claim, shabin!! For all we know, you could have written a false letter to the US univs to mislead them to believe that you had not enrolled at IIT!!</p>

Quite a mistake. There exists such a “Preaparatory Course” option for SC/ST, because I remember reading about it in the info booklet when I myself was taking the JEE test in 2004.</p>

<p>If you are in your final year of school, why is your name on an Alumni List? You do know that the word ‘alumni’ refers to somebody who has already left the school, right?</p>
<p>The course in question here does not look like a preparatory course, merc. I don’t think non-IIT students can enroll in CE215 Civil Engineering Drawing .</p>
<p>As I said, other than clarifying that such a prep course does exist at IIT, I am not involving myself in this debate.</p>

<p>The SC/ST prep course is mainly to ‘lift’ the level of SC student s for the JEE coz of politics etc… ( no debate here please - people have immolated on this — again no comments!!)</p>
