The Indian Thread (TiT) # 14

Hmm… what did u mean by that Sachit???
Sonia supported Laloo Yadav to continue his misrule in Bihar for 5 years and more. She isnt as good as she has been projected.

when has someone done something moral in india ? and whenever he/she has done something like that all we can do is question. its a sad state of affairs.

i doubt ANYBODY else wouldve resigned from such a powerful post.

BJP supported a bunch of lousy people too . .

If the sensible people dont want to join your ranks you will have to make do with people like Laloo . . thats the loss for the nation ! Not really Sonias fault in that . .

Why? If she would have really cared for the people of Bihar she wouldnt have supported a misruling Govt. Moreover, it doesnt matter if BJP or some other party is doing bad things…why will SHE do bad things if she is a GOOD lady??

whatever dude…i support the congress and well you cant always be sure that this move is also one of the big politician moves (although it is) but then i am pretty sure Sonia is going to destroy BJP in the times ahead…and u remember my words when she does…

Please dont get me into a debate i hate politics…

Destroy BJP??? Congress is losing states after states… She is surrounded by corrupt Congress leaders… they do some BIG scams almost daily :p

Did she have an option ?

Arent GOOD people forced to do things when they have no options ?
Dont tell me they aren’t . . .

Arka Dhar from India is waitlisted number 2 for MIT…confirmed from him today…

Anyway Im off now ! Debated on this too much already with my friends . .

Maybe Congress should just step out of Government and let BJP do it their way and make fools of themselves . . thats what BJP seem to be aiming for.

Till next time . . .

What option?? She shouldn’t have supported Laloo…thats it. She cannot play with the aspirations of the Biharis. She has no Moral. Anyone who supports Laloo has no moral :stuck_out_tongue: (I support him faintly ;))

BJP provided a less corrupt govt. at the Centre. Congress has outdone the no. of scams NDA did in its whole tenure in just 2 yrs.

Did Arka get in Caltech? I think Ashish is the no.1 in waitlist.

U think or u know…and i dunno abt arka…even if he applied or not…also did this ashish guy get into caltech…

ronty it was a sarcastic comment.

rishabh said “what a lady she is . . we need more people like that in indian politics” and it was in response to that.

Ashish just now told me that there isnt any waitlist no. at MIT. Btw, he has been denied admission at Caltech.

I thought that too, Sachit…

LOL I don’t think there’s any morality at all in Indian politics. It’s more a matter of the degree of immorality.
Won’t support the BJP anyhow.

Exactly… The less corrupt wins :)

Have a look at this:
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/HC23Df01.html</a>
Just to clarify: I dont support Lalu or anything but an alternate point of view (and believe me, this is very widespread opinion.)

Also, about the BJP getting destroyed, I doubt if any other party can be directly responsible for BJP’s demise. The only thing that can influence this outcome is India’s economic development (and by development, I mean a pretty uniform development across all sections of the society). As India develops and undergoes urbanization, people will start worrying more about their economic security than their religion and this might lead to the demise of Hindu nationalism (if not BJP).
At least I hope that happens! :)

Man, thanks to the BJP, and a few reforms that were kickstarted in the early and mid 90s by Rao, the Indian economy has managed to grow as it does now. This growth is no thanks to the corrupt Congress which survives due to votes from some of the rural areas where people tend to be brainwashed because of lack of education. Laloo’s seemingly interminable reign attests to this. Thank god Nitish Kumar is in.

Its pretty sad that the BJP is in such disarray at the moment…they better get their act together before next elections if the want the country not to be ruled by weakling puppets like Manmohan controlled by a foreign hand.

And there’s one thing right here that still baffles me…how on earth did the indian public vote for priminsterial candidate of foreign origin and birth involved in Bofors and has been accused of embezzling tons of money?? I’ve never lived in india, so you guys might be able to tell me what went wrong with the minds of the public :p
