go play football or something man

its 2:54 in the morning

Hey did anyone get thru Harvard from CC or from India at all this year.

he meant FIFA 2005 or something :p

eww I hate that game.Grow up kids time for some counter strike or Unreal.

“ritz” from CC got in early to harvard. girl from her school also got in. dont know about others.
yeah unreal is cool, but not something id recommend - ends up hurting your fingers when ud rather get some exercise.

vampiro- the intel science fair has categories in everything you can think of. Comps included. A few years back a guy from my school reached the finals for his theory on colour coded memory.

interestingly its because of the game CS that i got my nickname havaldaar. Now i think you’ll be able to figure out how good i am at that game

haha… i was pretty obsessed with CS in college… im sick of it now… i used to play under the screen name of “ahimsa” :P

so basically we have to put forward new concepts in intel and they need not be any working models.
I mean if the idea is on paper that would do …correct

Hey no activity for what like 7hrs.
Where is everyone??

you juniors have the responsibility to get TiT back up n kicking -> equal to or better than 67 posts / day. See if you can do it! :p

hey merc did you like the MIT interview.

Hey anyone on CC whose applyin to UK (Cambridge and all)

oxbridge dont recognize India’s 12th std as sufficient schooling.

So is there any method to get in there.
What about cambridge (i.e. Kings college and all)

oxbridge = oxford+cambridge

also u can only apply to oxford OR cambridge, cant apply to both

kings college (uni. of london) does consider indian applicants (i was offered admission) , so does manchester…but oxford, cambridge, lse, imperial - NO…the best way to check is visit their websites

ok will do so.
Any of you know about the feesibility of NUS.
I mean sure it gives scholarships if you get great marks but then there is also the 6yr bond.So is it worth it don’t you think its a bit unnerving to be bonded to serve that country for 6yrs.

i believe there is some way to defer the 6 yr bond for higher education if you can get a professor to support your cause (or something like that) but the only way to actually avoid serving the bond is to pay up. personally i dont believe its worth it.

i think there may also be a scheme with a 3-year bond, where the fees is partially taken care of (NTU does). If you can afford it (its still rather high) that may be a better bet.

yeah Shash I think you’re right.Anyways who wants to bust there ass their anyway.I am going to the states for sure.
