AP Physics C is crap compared to CBSE Indian physics…

Surya ,the Indian system DOES rape foriegn syllabus in many ways-sure it has its faults, but there’s no denying the fact that it does teach you a lot of stuff that is really useful at the college level.

And I hate to say this, but the true fob geeks do manage to perfom better in academics than the rest of us.

What we (HSC board) do is waaaay easier compared to AP physics or college level physics, and i can say this with confidence because i have done the same maharashtra hsc education that you are tallking about.
And again it has been a widely seen trend that students concur that AP physics C is much easier than the actual college level calculus physics, so, even if you guys think that AP physics C is easy (which again i would disagree with), college level physics is actually much tougher than that.

Of course-college level physics is going to be tough-but a person who say, studies for the IIT will most probably find it a breeze.

I am doing Physics this semester, and I find a lot of stuff coming up on exams, problem sets and stuff being similar in difficulty levels to that taught in Fiitjee classes for IIT prep…

ok, lets end this, but lemme say this too (hehe) standards in any subject, whether it be AP or whatever are lower anywhere in the US compared to any school in India, i can say this, i lived in india until grade 7 and when i came to the US i started learning fractions …

ok, so i also agree that in the US when one enters high school, education levels rise steeply, but man, it just aint upto bharat standards, AP, IB, accelerated … whatever

im coming back to india, land of oppurtunity or no oppurtunity … i need some fierce TIGER competition, and yeah, GANGULY IS FINALLY OUT!! THE TEAM IS DEMOLISHING ENGLAND … WHOOOOO!!!

well there are certian state boards that are even tougher than general Indian standards also… and well there is a whole lot we do now that wud be repeated in college …

Rightly said as of an IIT prep student, anything in 1 yrs college is a breeze for understanding as we are made to learn all those techies right when we start class 11…

hey …any one here s goin to university of virginia…if yes…i think we may keep in touch cuz i ve decided to go there…and have anyone recieved a packet of acceptance from there…i mean the mail…

I signed the petition Vampiro, but the President has very little power.

I am very ****ed with Manmohan. All the adulation seems to have gotten to his head. He seems to think he’s above the people and doesn’t need to respond to any contentious issue.
