Wot you said. I had 800 both times (clearly proving that an inclination towards typing ‘wot’ is not in itself a sign of Really Bad English, wot? ;)), and some of the passages were pretty crazy.

On my November make-up SAT, one passage was about Alan Turing and solipsism (I had a fangirl moment when I read that! :D), and another was Newton on Optics. (Yes, really. Seventeenth-century English and all.) Vocabulary lists could not have helped much for either.

Apropos of nothing very much: “Ford, you’re turning into a penguin. Stop it.”

What did I get, frankly I’ve forgotten, some drudge on Jamaican music and a bit about how English words derived from French sound feminine. Oh and something on feminism. (Which was weird :))

To everyone else, I’m not particularly wet right now, it’s just that I really, really feel the need for a towel. :)

I’m a bit lesser actually. Only one CR 800 (But as I took it once, does that make up?)

To anybody reading TiT for the first time: Breathe, breathe… (Yes, we are insane, certifiably, wot?)

Who are at the moment driven over the edge by Chemistry and Vectors respectively…

P.S. I hate proofs, I always have. If the thing’s true, and we know it’s true, why do we have to prove it’s true. That and writing all steps. :D

Yes, we are Perfectly Normal Beasts, aren’t we? (Literary references seem to be self-propagating on TiT, tis a viscious cycle that I here prophesy)

And for no particular reason: Beware the Ides of March (+2)

I love proofs, although I don’t like writing every single step (at least, not the painfully obvious ones. Bit contradictory, really). Vector proofs are love, though. ;)

(This is why I’m cut out to be a math major, I guess.)

Indeed, literary references are fruitful and multiply on this thread. (;)) 'Tis the will of Almighty Bob!

I swear, I’m going to go insane on MIT decision-day. Either from joy or from grief, at any rate – either way, I’ll be bonkers. (Well. More bonkers.)

aerospace in india is kinda no-existant it just sucks, so that is why I am leaving for US. I am not going to US just because everyone else is tryin to. I just love the practical aproach they have!!

As far as IIT is concerned they SUCK!!! You study for 2 years 24hrs, and then you are not sure that you will get the dept of your choice!!! selection rate? 1% or maybe less…
