My ICSE memory’s a bit different. We got our results while still in school. (About 2 pm our time). The school got the fax, our Supervisor quietly walked up to the notice board and pinned those faxed sheets up, cue stampede, pandemonium and utter, and complete chaos.

Very nice memory, that day at least for me. I remember frantically working a calculator to calculate my best 5, thinking all the time, that can’t be right, can it? :)

@ lakshya –
Yeah I used to be a hardcore gamer.

And the reason I said this was because, when I bought my pc, I used to run all my games at MAX settings with a 1600*1200 resolution and have no problems whatsoever.
(ok I admit when I had 1 GB of RAM, DOOM 3 used to make my pc say “low on memory” but all that changed after my upgrade to 2GB :D)

I don’t think I ever got that site to work at all. (Don’t get me started on the CICSE site at all, the things a lumbering behemoth, perpetually under construction.)

I hated results day. Although to be fair, I already knew that I hadn’t done well at all on anything, because I was severely ill through Physics and a bit drained for the rest of it, and that showed. Quite a lot.

This time’s going to be weird though. One, it all seems to matter a bit less as compared to the tension and stress of 10th. Two, well we’ll be well on our way to wherever we’re going by then, so the shock, if there is a shock, will be well muffled. :)

I love winter, personally. It can get less appealing when it’s still dark when you’re getting out of bed to go to school (which will be pretty common in the US, I guess, even if it doesn’t happen in India), but I still love it.

I’ve lived in Dubai all my life. So I think it’ll be cool to be in a place where it snows and stuff, but I also know that I can’t tolerate the cold.

I’m a winter and rain fan myself. Hate the summer, always have. (Which is terrible for a person living in a desert :)) I suppose that’s a good thing though, as we’ll all soon be subjected to -15 ish weather. :)

Am I the only person who keeps AccuWeather links to all the places he’s applying to college as an extension on Firefox? :D

Shrivats, I dont think I will be nervous because I know I am going to get in the colleges that I want to go in (WPI, ERAU etc) Yeah will be applying to other Ivies too HYPM, and I am 60% sure I wont get in. I may be admitted to Cornell if I am able to get wonderful SATs.

I think I need to reorganize my EC listings cos people miss out on the important ones. :D

I’ll end up going to college in the north, though. Probably NY or Ohio, because Amherst and Williams are… hard to get into, so not Mass. The UCs… aren’t too good with aid, although they cost a lot less, and I wouldn’t need to live in a dorm, which would suck.

I honestly don’t know where I’m going to go; we’ll all find out soon enough though! (must talk of the weather, otherwise, I’ll be lynched!
