<p>The email says: “Now, that you’ve applied to Berkeley” so I’m assuming everyone gets it. I get a lot of emails from UCSD that are addressed “To all the students of UCSD”.</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure it’s a general mail. Colleges do have some brains, you know, if they’ve got a deadline, they’ll normally stick to it.</p>
