Rejected from Cornell. :D

Congrats taemi and twins !

Rejected from Cornell. :D

Congrats taemi and twins !

Rejected by UChicago, Cornell, Princeton. Expected all of them – applied for aid at Chicago and Cornell, and Princeton is Princeton.

I’m not unhappy. And am composing that rejection song. :p

So, what’s the final tally here? I’m too lazy to go through all the posts…Who’s going where?

@Twins: Where are you planning on going now? Berkeley?

I was accepted at Harvard and waitlisted at Cornell…

Now, that’s some serious irony…

so fuzzy, the interview did have an impact… congrats

I’d request everyone to go back and enjoy the online pre-decision concert on TiT by bas, curly and abhi! 'Twas gr8 fun :D

Twins are moderately confused and dazed right now… (course it is 5:30 in the morning and I haven’t slept all night, so that may have something to do with it. :D

Final tally: both Accepted at Penn and at Berkeley, (with Regents)
Waitlisted Yale,
Rejected, Harvard, Princeton and Cornell.

Wait a minute, accepted to Berkeley, rejected at Cornell Honestly, we don’t know where we’re going, too early for that, we’ll have to see.

Anyone know anything about the Regents’ and Chancellors’ Scholarship?

Yeah, Regents is really prestigious…it’s a full ride plus you get guaranteed housing all 4 years…and you guys didn’t even have to interview

not that sure if it’s a full ride for Internationals though, I’ll have to check that, but if so, :D:)

Dude, accepted at Caltech and rejected by Cornell Engineering and UChicago (okay, that last I can understand, I’m a math/science nerd and they might not like me). Equally insane.

Still. Easier for me. Wait for Stanford to show up by the post (due to superstition like whoa – three rejections in a row doesn’t help) and go to Tech.

congrats taemi, twins and fuzzy!

@twins- is it M&T at Penn?

I have just woken up and the bitter reality that I have been rejected everywhere is starting to sink in!

Rejected: HYP, MIT, Caltech, Duke, Cornell, Penn, Columbia
Awaited: Stanford and NU

Yeah, that is rejected to 9 colleges in all! Damn.

I’m sorry, sp.

Berkeley rejected me as well, but I’m INTO HAMILTON - although the fin aid is pathetic.

Shoot I’ve had enough of yesterday (theoretically, this morning). I’m off to Georgia Tech. :D

I never had a chance of applying to Berkeley…missed the deadline. ;)

I’m really sorry sp. What’re you planning to do now?

Did anyone here get into Cornell? My sister is never going to let this rest.

No…I didn’t like the name anyways. :D

I missed Berkeley’s deadline as well.

taemi got into Cornell, but he’s the only one.

I missed Berkeley’s deadline as well.

@fuzzy- I’m going to wait for Stanford and NU before deciding what to do next, although I know how they are going to end up :)

It is going to be tough preparing for the JEE, especially because I have been a staunch critic of the IITs for so long! I’ll give the JEE a shot and then take the AIEEE and BITSAT. I’m not considering taking a gap year and re-trying for the US Colleges, because our colleges are not that bad after all.

Yay, I got accepted to two colleges. Everyone does not hate me. And I’m a Senior Member!

I’m sorry, spacepirate :(

do you people know of any good colleges that have a spring intake?

Perhaps Berkeley and the other UCs?
