@Kriti: Good advice that. I’m not sure if I should take it though, it being, well advice. (Abandons circuitous statements. :))

Seriously though, yes, we will decide by ourselves in the end. But it never hurts to get other points of view, and besides it’s a nice conversation starter.

“To Random person on the street: I’ve been accepted to 8 colleges and don’t know what to do! Help meeeeee!!! :)”

Kind of, makes for sparkling conversation and repartee.

@fuzzy: Thanks for the (well I can’t call it advice now, so) tip. We’re considering all of these factors and we’ll make our decision, sometime in the next 10 days…

I think we need to start a “No-nonsense Indian Thread” where everyone can post their 2 cents on the college admissions process. Advice particularly directed to future Indian applicants will be appreciated.

I’m not sure even a word association thread ever reached our proportions. I mean if you combine all the IT’s, (or all the TiT’s, but I just hate redundancy :)), you’ll end up with around what, 50000 posts? :D

10000 should be just about right though. :D

@SP: We are doing that actually, at some time which we’ll decide by consensus. We’re making a “Guide to International College Admissions from those who’ve been there” kind of thread. Let’s not restrict it to India though. Even though it’ll primarily be Indians who’ll post on it. (The International Forum’s got a very high percentage of us :))
