What else is there other than Windows :D? Note to self: are you suicidal???

Really? Are you?

:D

EDIT: If you notice the link, the number is 0104, that is 01/04, 1st April. But most of all the system of date used is dd/mm. Just the way it should be. :D

Who knows. If he, like hos bro, can’t figure out colleges, he just might be driven to that point.

and as for k_twin, there is

Linux

Nah, I know when to stop when dealing with frenzied Mac and Linux users. (Beats off Penguin attack. :))

You’re free to pelt apples at me though. (I’m considering a Mac for college :))

Macbook, Macbook, Macbook!!! (fanboyism)

@sp: They gave us the answer sheets back and told us to correct it ourselves. :D

Macbook, Macbook, Macbook!!! (Generally not fanboyish - but can I join?)

EDIT: Student discount is pretty neat too! :D

I’ll keep that in mind… Seriously though, I’ll buy the laptop as late as possible, falling prices and all… Is it that hard to get used to Mac after using Windows all your life? (Love the Vista comic on CAD today by the way. :))

I’m having visions of absent right clicks, though also dreams of non-crashing computers. :D

fuzzy: I expected that to happen, acted intelligently and came back home to do some TiTing! Clever me :D

phew! Just ended the 23423542312th fight with my mom today on “To study or not to study for the JEE”. She was mad at me when I came home midway after the mock test :)

Ah we are now a verb as well as an adjective? (TiTer/TiTan/TiTing) :D

Acronym modifications anyone? :)

wow! the stanford store has an uber cool website! I surely am buying some stuff. My parents wont be shelling out for college, they can at least get me some wonderful “S” t-shirts :)

@SP: STOP… :)

I can’t decide which college to go to and I hate seeing people who’ve decided… :D

Ah, but seriously, I’m looking forward to buying a college t-shirt too… (Or 5 college t-shirts, judging by how it’s going… )

yes… TiT is everything.

Noun: I’m addicted to TiT.
Verb: We can never have enough of TiTing
Adj: Ah, this gossip is so TiTan, we never know how it changes course!
Adverb: The thread is TiTily swelling.

Im sorry Shrivats, I’ll stop right away angel

Shrivats, it’s not very hard to learn how to use a Mac. I was a Windows user for ten years, and switched pretty easily (got my Mac a couple of months ago, and I love it). Go for the student discount, though – I didn’t, my mistake (or rather, my uncle’s, since I did not pay). :p

I’m going for the VAIO SZ 491 Notebook.

Macbooks whine a lot and get overheated quickly. And there’s no right click. :D

I’ll see about the student prices thing… Of course Dubai, being Dubai, they’ll probably charge extra for students. (But you’ll use the computer so much more! :))

Getting high off a lightbulb. Int-er-est-ing… too bad I’m going to live in substance free.

I’m getting a Mac too. Oberlin has a computer store with a student discount, and there’s a back-to-school sale from July to September.

Shrivats, Lakshya, Kaushik: Don’t take anyone’s advice, you know best where you’d fit in.

@Pyrotechnic: Dyou have a death wish or something… You do not criticize Macs in the presence of Mac users. It’s well, dangerous! :)

A serious question now.

Does anyone know of any merit scholarships being given out for internationals? I’ve tried fastweb but it is very bad with its filter.

@Shrivats: If you’re planning on going to Berkeley and want to do EECS or something along those lines, it’ll probably be very difficult since you’ve applied Engineering Undeclared. Berkeley lacks the flexibility of other schools when it comes to majors. Oh, yeah and the on campus housing is pretty bad. You might want to get an apartment or something.

My order:
Berkeley (It’s still an excellent school)
Duke
UPenn
Rice
JHU
Northwestern
