You know at this point, you could say just about anything Math related Noldo, and we’d accept it as Gospel? *Nods head in complete, infinite understanding of all that is… :p

@pranjal: Where’re you going? Update the list.

@Lakshya: Neither do I :o

@Inshallah lol

@fuzzy: No, I have no clue what that is. :o

@inshallah: That is hilarious!

Hello all,

its been a looonng time since i posted… so ill refrain from commenting much anyways. Nevertheless just dropped by to congratulate all of you who have succeeded in getting admissions to wonderful places. Awesome , great work guys.

So who all applied for complete financial aid and got in as well ( apart from the ones admitted to HYPMSW ofcourse) ?

Just in case you dont know me , i am SM from last years batch ( that is to say from TiT#14) [;)]

SM

inshallah – that is fun. I want to send one of those around.

Kaushik – um, yay? Well, I do try very hard to confound people with math-overload, so I am pleased that it seems to be marginally working.

(note to self: stop exercising sarcasm muscle, it’s had too much fun today.)

smartmind – aid-wise, spacepirate at Stanford (which isn’t need-blind, I think?) and me at Caltech.

:p

@ SM/Ankur, nice to see you on here again. I’m pretty sure SP (Spacepirate) applied for Aid from Stanford and got in :))

Thread Hibernator!

@Twins: When is the Rice admitted student weekend?

guilty as charged Do I get any rights?

April 15 - 17

The stanford acceptance is wonderful as ever… and congratulations to you Noldo…

But i would have expected to see more of such admissions at normal IVY universities also coz from the trend i am seeing for the past few years the number of normal international acceptance with aid from mainland india has decreased substantially and the only set of people who get in as indians with aid are desis or NRI’s which is a sad scene ofcourse.

This doesnt mean i am generalising but ofcourse it holds true for a good majority.

SM

Rights?

Well, you have the right to an attorney and the right to shut up as anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

more of a rhetorical question, that…

Dammit!! :o

for all ye self study(i?)ers:

I’m not going to try and read all the posts, well, I tried, but there are too many.

I think I might have gotten accepted to Colgate. I might. I haven’t gotten anything yet, but I’m still on their mailing list, and the recent promo email I got from them had a link to chat, and the next two chats coming up are accepted students’ chats, and some people didn’t get the email, and a person who was accepted got it, and I hate Saif Ali Khan’s Colgate toothpaste ad, it’s very dumb.

Yes!

Yes, Stanford beat Cal!! (but they are 24th on the list)
