Oh, no problem. I hope they’re in the least bit helpful…

and thanks lol but I’m not exactly successful, yet. This is just the beginning.

u r all high achievers. i will be lucky if i can duplicate a small fraction of ur list! i guess i should be spending less time here.

What list?

Also, -shrugs- CC is rather distracting…

list of accomplishments of seniors on this thread.

@ wisdom86 Yes, it is definitely worthwhile attending school like Cornell even if you don’t get any credit for IB work. Got admission @ University of Chicago with EA, really really want to go there but can not attend without some FA. That is why I am curbing my excitement about U of Chicago.

Gone!
Clark b Asif 3
Australia 42/4!

Would have been 42/5 but decision reversed after referral.

lol yea, there’s no way I’d be able to attend Cornell without FA. I always told my parents that I’d pay for college without their help… and the generous people at Cornell are making that possible. With work study, a summer job, and the money I’m getting from them… It will cost my parents nothing, and grant me the independence I’ve always wanted.

oh, and Congratulations on UChicago! You should be excited, incredibly excited.

Are you planning on an economics major…? I always think econ when it comes to UChic

@wisdom86 I have to depend on only merit based aid and I might have to wait until April to learn about those awards.

Don’t worry. Just apply to scholarships like crazy, if this is your dream, make it happen.

@wisdom86 Thanks. Very very excited about UoC but …

Not decided about major. Primary subject of interest is Physics. Interested in Econ, Philosphy, …

Wow! Another back to back!

Hussey c Misbah-ul-Haq b Asif 28
North c Kamran b Asif 10

Australia 51/6

lol I have very similar interest! I intend on a double major in physics and economics and Cornell has an excellent theoretical physics program.

I think IB has contributed massively to my love of philosophy ;)

wow.

Someones quite the cricket fan lol

I am a sports junkie alright. Cricket is like baseball - you don’t have to give 100% attention. It doesn’t distract me at all.

@Tippu : What I meant was either a regular CS course or a full on Game Designing course that’s offered in a very low number of unis (like USC, which has a solid course). As I take it, all regular CS courses have some form of game programming involved. And I don’t know about any similarities between film making. Game designing encompasses all the programming required to make the games work so in that respect, that and film making are quite dissimilar.

I used to like cricket till about class 3. Absolutely loathe it now.

@ wisdom86 Our IB coordinator teaches Philosophy in our school. He is top notch. How do you like TOK? Regular teacher went on leave of absence and so I am a little disappointed.

hey guys what did i miss
