<p>Go to MIT if you get in and if you really want to go to the usa for undergrad. Many ppl prefer the IITs and then go to MIT etc for postgrad since they are debt free when they graduate + its like a best of both worlds education!</p>
<p>@ quasi i’m planning to skip sat reasoning and give toefl instead as mit requires either of the two i found toefl to be easier sat reasoning english is really tough. I am planning to give sat II in oct-nov</p>
<p>I would say that you should give SAT reasoning and if you are going to make the effort to apply to MIT, also apply to equally good schools like Stanford, Caltech and the like because odds are you won’t get into MIT (even if you are an excellent applicant) and why not increase your chances of getting in at a top school if you are going to take the pains to apply.</p>

<p>nomad, I think you have been given good advice already. Do your best and aim for best colleges in both countries and then decide when you know what your options are.</p>

<p>the SEVIS fee is paid to the US department of justice(or something like that)
… so yeah it is the visa fee… but it’s not the one you pay at HDFC to get a visa form… it’s different and separately paid (even i don’t know where to pay it yet…i guess you should call the vfs office to find out :p)</p>
<p>and ansrox they are in hard times… so they’re extracting money from internationals 
… they dont take it from US citizens</p>

<p>lol i was very different a year ago. she kinda liked him and he did too at this one point and she wanted to get with him, and i was soooooooo hurt but i just played it off that i was okay with it and i wanted her to be happy, but she just let him go because she felt really baddd</p>

<p>i didnt take notes and would just expect an A… now i learned where that got me</p>
<p>next year, i know not to do that and i learned a lot from my mistakes in that class making me a smarter and more hardworking person overall</p>
