<p>At uchicago all have to take placement test(s). Some are mandatory and some are optional. They keep stressing that no preparation is necessary for these tests.</p>

<p>And yeah harvard I got mine on the 31st of may. But looks like I may have to request another one because the Indian passport has a weird format. But maybe I won’t. Mumbai has a few interview dates :)</p>

<p>@Ansrox: Instead of applying again for an I-20, why don’t you go to your local USIEF and have them check your stuff for correctness? This way you will save both time and effort!</p>

<p>Harvard I think you should contact the authorities, don’t be so hesitant 'bout contacting them. They won’t hold your desperation against you, it is understandable and you’d be surprised how responsive and eager-to-help they really are! :)</p>
<p>harvard, I called JHU a fortnight back, inquiring about my I-20 and all they said was " We can’t tell you about the status of your I-20 but you will receive the I-20 in a timely manner."</p>
<p>You should call them but I think you might get a similar response.</p>
