Interview in 7 hours.

Messi messi messi messi messi messi messi

ansrox, in response to your PM, I’ll just copy paste what I wrote on FB-
My interview was in the morning session, at 8:45, so I don’t know how other timings work. Make sure you reach the consulate at least 40 mins in advance so you can be at the start of the line, and give your cellphone to whoever is accompanying you BEFORE trying to get in or you’ll have to go all the way to gate 5 to deposit it by which time you’ll go from like P3 to P61. And trust me, going a few minutes early saves a LOT of waiting time. So basically, doing the early cellphone thing means you’ll be out of the consulate in 15-20 mins hopefully.
About the questions asked, mine was a very friendly and super short interview. She just asked me which colleges I applied to, where I got in, whats so cool about Penn, about my housing plan at Penn and my dad’s income. And she congratulated me on my FA package and we talked a bit about how crazy the FA situation had been this year for intl’ students. Nothing about how exactly you are going to pay or do you plan to return to India. Very straightforward and almost informal discussion-like. Nevertheless, do carry all your docs and stay confident even if there is an awkward question. Good luck and have fun! :D

@Ansrox: Best of luck for the interview pal! Just go out there and show them that you are genuinely in love with your college, course and, well, your home country - India!!!

@Aniruddh: Hey! I am so sorry for I could not reply to your email soon enough. It is essentially because of all this stuff that I have to do: Visa, Tickets, Vaccination (I hate injections!) et cetera. You know how time consuming all this really is. But, I promise you, nevertheless, that a reply is very soon on its way!

@Everyone else: Hello!
