why would the Indian authorities not allow a visa… thats strange… did they give you a reason?
ans i’ll be going delhi-frankfurt-chicago most probably… im taking air india for various reasons:
it has good fares for students, more baggage allowance and the most important open return ticket… for any other airline (afaik) i’ll have to give a fixed date for coming back and even to change it by 1 day it takes like $200-300</p>

<p>I’ve flown Del-Chicago on Lufthansa and Etihad. Lufthansa was good but they didn’t have personal tv’s on the way back on the frankfurt-delhi leg. And if you have a choice Munich>>>Frankfurt</p>
<p>Also Etihad is pretty decent. It’s a goldmine for free upgrades.</p>
<p>But stick to one airline… more like one airline alliance. Collect miles and use it to upgrade [best thing ever :D]</p>

<p>I got a one way Pune Frankfurt Chicago (yeah Pune!!) for 44427. I think I just booked that. Going on august 15 th. Didn’t book etihad because abu dhabi comes early then it’s like a 15 hr straight flight! We get to fly in the A380 then, though. Not compensation enough , I guess. P
