The Kinsey Scale

I’d be very wary of what I learned in Sex Ed. lol

On the other hand, I’ve heard similar things. …Not that everyone has thoughts that conflict with their dominant sexual orientation, but that most people do. But isn’t that what the Kinsey scale adresses?

crumflake, I like your reasoning!

Anyways, I think I’m a 1.

Regarding crumflake… (I am a guy) while I am def. good friends with some girls, I have stronger emotional connections and also have more fun with my guy friends. I think people need a balance of genders in friendships, but if I had to pick only one gender to be friends with, it would be male.

I’m probably a 1 or 2.

hands down, id choose women. i donthave problems with them because i kinda understand them… and i connect with them better… plus there are guys and girls u can have great convos with, but then how would u reproduce? ud have to go with the girls… and even just to have fun… it would be girls… i dont think i can go wrong

Yeah I dunno crumflake, while I totally respect your zeroness (lol), I’m def a 2. Anyways, we’re all different and I think it’s pretty cool…
Peace

but see, here is the thing… does everyone really have thoughts of what it would be like, cause im not homophobic, but i tend to never think of it, and when i do, i wince…or shiver… but thatsjust me. and what constitutes a 1 or 2?

lol. i’m pretty sure this is different. Let me know when you have your first one. I bet it’ll be during college.

Yeah, at 18 years, the majority of which were not at sexual maturity, I’d say you can’t really have determined that you never will experience homosexual thoughts.

i have no reason to have homosexual thoughts, i find all my needs to be met by women… nor am i curious, and i dont think i would be curious about that subject … so i dont know about that…

well NOW you don’t. but I thought women met all my needs. For many years I said the same things you’ve been saying. But the thing I’ve realized about life is that things change. And I suppose you can speculate that you won’t, but you can’t definitively say anything because well no one knows the future ;)

I’m like a 1- I guess I’ve had a thought or two about it, but I’m pretty sure I would never consider it.

hmm… ok im not close minded, but i know for sure that i am totally not intrested in men…i dont get bored with women, as in some men who get boredand then move on… and i wouldnt ever consider performing homosexual acts, its just a… well no

this thread wasn’t intended to offend anyone… just a place to state who you are (at least sexually)… I’m sure that we can all respect whatever people decide for themselves is their Kinsey rating… Although as another person pointed out, the Kinsey research was flawed, it still has the potential to be sorta fun…

Bump!!!

I’m confused as to what “incidentally heterosexual means.” But I’m probably a 5. Girls can be really hot (sometimes).

probably a one, maaaybe a two, depending on my state of sobriety. real guys (not friend guys) are such *******s and so hard to deal with…but i just can’t get away (i’m a girl).

ahh i can’t believe this board censored me!

I gotta say, in art class I much prefer sketching women to men. I think their bodies are more fun aesthetically. And to make a gross generalization you’ve got a bit more hygiene, fashion etc.
When it comes to human interaction I’ve never felt attracted to a woman, so I guess it comes out to a 1.

their bodies are aesthetically more fun?

well… no ****!

They’re more fun in that they’re more defined and curvy.

Guys bodies are more sexually…hot.

hahahahahaha
