The Lawrenceville School

I checked mine out of the library, halfway through it.

And I got another placement math test for Calc.

The Things They Carried is MUCH less a historical book than a literary book. You will understand what I mean once you start reading. It’s a great book regardless.

I really like it.

How much do you have to read over the summer?

Also, is it required? Do they test you when you arrive to see if you read or not?

Yes, you’ll have to write an essay for each of the books you read in the academic classes.

Oh. Is it graded?

Yep!!!

You can safely skip the all-school book, however.

This year’s is written by an alumni, seems interesting.

heh heh, we don’t have required reading for exeter :)) :-c B-)

I mean, I guess there’s some semblance of relief for you people. Have fun during the school year. >:) >:)

@mrnephew I knew you were going to say that haha. They give us nothing during the summer so they can pile it on for the school year

You know me too well.

Hahahahahahhaha lol :stuck_out_tongue: Well at least we have proper holidays :3

Wow. Such power.

Ik this is a random question, but what’s the mascot for lville?

There isn’t. It’s Big Red or Lawrentian.

Big Red, Big Blue, Big Green… I’m going to found a boarding school whose mascot is the Little Lime Green! (You can decide whether that is a color, a fruit, or adjectives describing a vegetable.)

yeah honestly I’m scared for all the work I’d rather do reading over the summer haha. But oh well I have enough to do as it is lol. and sparknotes will always come in handy when i need it B-)
