<p>Nice, spunaugle! I got into Human Ecology myself, always liked that school.</p>
<p>However, Williams… is so enticing. I really want to matriculate, but money issues might prevent that. I seriously hope they don’t though.

<p>You know, guys, if a school doesn’t give you as much finaid as you wanted, you can always politely ask if the financial aid office could match one of your other school’s offers because you really want to go to X school. It might not work but then it usually DOES, esp. with high-end schools. That’s how my brother got more money from MIT (by asking if it could match caltech’s), and that’s what I plan to ask my college when I definitely decide on one. 
Just try it — nothing to lose. And apparently asking for a match is completely normal as well according to my guidance counselor.</p>
<p>I still love you Yale… even if you waitlist me and make me suffer through more agony, prolly to just end up ultimately rejected still! Hey as a side question, does anyone know if waitlists are need-blind as well?</p>

<p>My Williams financial aid packet was very generous. As a matter of fact, all my LAC financial aid packets were extremely generous. So far, they are covering me better than the Ivies.</p>
