@ No2EULA: Ah… it’s a tough decision, but I just read up on the Williams pre-med advising system and it simply blew me away with its amazing amount of detail and preparedness.

But I may well end up at Cornell if Williams isn’t affordable (or if I end up choosing Cornell). Both schools are somewhere I would be VERY happy at for four years.

hahahaha limetime… I want consolation for MY rejections too!

So. Are you leaning towards Dartmouth or Williams? I have a feeling Dimensions is going to corrupt you forever!

AnnaSmith: Congratulations! Wow, getting waitlisted at Harvard is a huge feat… and Georgetown is a great school. It’s great to see “Magical” regulars getting into good schools.

I’ll definitely miss IndiaRubber’s posts, though she’s off to medical school!

Engineering here…
I want to do car designing ultimately
Still figuring out a way to get to that…
And of course finish my working-at Lamborghini-living-in-Switzerland dream

I have been lurking…current junior…after seeing how this year played out definitely lowering expectations…top student…act 34(hoping for a 35 when the mail arrives)…thinking of Williams, Brown,Duke,Cornell,Cal Tech, William and Mary, UChicago,Georgia Tech, Univ Penn, MIT. I have no idea. It doesn’t really matter where I want to go anyway…that is obvious (I used to think Yale was a possibility). Thnxs

Haha floridahopeful, I’m a junior lurking here too.
It makes me sad that only a few ppl here got into Yale. You guys seem like such amazing people. I’m kinda lowering my expectations as well after seeing this thread and watching my senior friends go through all this. Good luck wherever you guys choose to go (You guys have some great choices!!)

If anything, you can try to second guess everyone who’s saying “gahhh, look at all the talent that got rejected!”.

Kick ass this year, and keep kicking ass next year - with a little luck, you’ll go somewhere awesome, with slightly less luck, you’ll still be kicking ass no matter where you go.

We were the ‘peak’ year after all…Maybe it’ll be better for you guys.

COLLEGEHOPEFULL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I wonder where he’s been! ;)

@floridahopeful: Go to Williams!!! That’s probably where I’m going to matriculate (I’ve decided that I HATE Cornell. The b-tards “regretted to inform me” that they could not accomodate me as an overnight guest at Cornell Days. Unable to accomodate my foot!).

However, in all seriousness, do not be discouraged by the 2013 results. Yes, it was ridiculous to get in. But don’t lose sight of your own goals/dreams just because it’s difficult. Keep on working really hard and do some awesome things outside of school, and you’ll have a shot. But don’t pin all your hopes on Yale: find some other dream schools as well. I’ve always loved Williams and never thought I’d get in, and look what happened! I’m ECSTATIC about (possibly) going there, and hopefully this will be the end result for you as well. And I’m sure you got that 35.

OMG COLLEGEHOPEFULL
you missed everything
Sad ;)

I’m still deciding between carnegie and nu…hmm
Wasn’t the financial aid mess expected?
Despite all the rosy pictures articles have been trying to create

amigos, i tagged along with c-hope. it’s taken a while to overcome my d-day, but i’ve moved on, and i need some magical advice.

georgetown or haverford.

i visited the ford – nice small campus next to philly but gtown is gtown. help me. regardless, i don’t know if i’m seriously going to pursue this, but i’m gonna try to transfer next year to the dog pound (the handsome dan dog pound, not the hoya dog pound. lol, lame).

on a seperate note, it’s glad to see everyone moving on with their lives, if you take a look – we all still got into pretty baller schools so no sweat. congrats to everyone who made it to the pearly gates; enjoy life. ;]
