@deb922 I’d wear that Komarov dress to a beach affair! I’ve seen some guests in similar dresses at fancy beachfront ceremonies at one chichi hotel on Oahu!

The new dresses posted by Marilyn are all nice, but I also like the formal-ish (yet still beachy) Komarov. I saw a similar dress at a local upscale thrift shop last year (not my size), and I thought the fabric was lovely.

I’m not sure what made me think of checking Coldwater Creek except that I knew they had a range of sizes so thought they might carry petite. I didn’t shop there often because it was higher priced than I preferred, mainly went for sales. But I did have a good time when the local store had their “going out of business” sale!
I guess my point is that I don’t consider anything from Coldwater Creek fancy schmancy or very dressy. I thought of them as sort of country club level clothes. Ergo perfect for a beach wedding in an upscale resort on an upscale island!

Interestingly Nordstrom has many pricey/pretty Komarov styles, but I don’t think in petite(?)

Komarov’s own web site only shows dresses from XS to XL, so I suspect they made that dress (and others) in petite specifically for Coldwater Creek.

Agree that Komarov dress is lovely and definitely doesn’t look too fancy for a beach wedding! And it does your daughter’s ‘no white’ rule!

Ordered the Komarov dress. Would never have thought to look at Coldwater Creek. In fact, I kept thinking it was soft surroundings. Found a coupon even since I’ve never ordered from there.

Nordstrom used to carry Komarov dresses in petite but they haven’t in years. I suspect that dress was made specifically for Coldwater Creek also.

Maybe I should have looked more at Coldwater Creek. Found this dress which has sleeves and is a better color palette for me

I agree. I love that Kamarov dress and for the MOB don’t think it’s too fancy at all! I’d still send her a pic of the lemon dress. That was adorable.
