The most interesting book(s) you've ever read?

1984, Fahrenheit 451, and AMERICAN PSYCHO

any book by Jodi Picoult or Francine Rivers
also, some of Nelson Demille books

u could also try writing a book…

The best book I read at school is Of Mice and Men.
The ones I read at home? Maybe One Up On Wall Street by Peter Lynch…and Who Moved My Cheese.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay

That is most likely the best book I’ve ever read. Fantastic.

Good ones I’ve read recently:

Memories of My Melancholy Whores (Gabriel Garcia Marquez)
The Audacity of Hope (Barack Obama)

Soldier X
The Count of Monte Cristo

hated Brave New World…i kept thinking of the characters as animals…which they kind of were lol

Another vote for Freakanomics and Fight Club here.
Also… Ishmael by Daniel Quinn is a really enlightening book- some great (although occasionally a tad conspiratory) theories… It actually changed the way I think about much of what I read. Definitely recommended.

I like the World is Flat too, really interesting. I had to read it for my geography class and I accidentally bought version 3.0 or something…it was an extra 250 pages onto the already 500 page book. Only read so much of the same stuff for so long…But yeah! Version 1.0 is perfectly awesome
