Seriously??!!! I didn’t learn how to do a couple of the questions themselves and what was up with the plethora of conceptual questions rather than math? Gah, I hope it’s curved. MC was fairly easy.

sorry but i thought it the FR was incredibly easy. There were some parts (I’m ****ed about the Lewis structures… got the stupid central atom wrong) and the catalysts (I was like O.K… ) but besides that it wasn’t that bad. The one with the evacuated gas things was just sad… Subtract two numbers… Subtract two numbers… done with one problem .

I thought multi choice was ok but not great

^ Don’t be so specific until two days from now.

I thought the FR was easy (MC was a different story)… conceptual is nice… (:

i agree that the frq was INSANELY hard…i didnt know how to do a large portion of it but thought the multiple choice was easy/medium

yeah…the frq was insane to me…well at least one problem…

i thought the FR part A was bad. like half of it I just made up… Luckily the part B was about the only topic in AP Chem that I really liked and understood, so hopefully that evens it out… idk about the MC. we’ll see in July

Eh it’s not really a big deal if you discuss FRQ. Anyone know what constitutes a catalyst?

part A was incredibly hard(Esp #2 and 3!!! >_<)…part B was okay…but i wasnt really sure about #5…

The first FR question got hard toward the end. The other questions were laughably easy. I didn’t get absolutely everything, but I certainly got most of it. I never was very good at K… =(

A catalyst is present in the beginning and at the end.

I thought a catalyst didn’t show up in the overall reaction.

@boRNinJULY1337… wow
ughhhhhh

One question I remember:
Is the dipole-dipole forces stronger for H2S or H2O? London forces?

I thought it was H2O for dipole-dipole and H2S for London forces.

@ Sexycani that’s what i said so hopefully that right

seriously, guys. less than 40 hours. contain yourselves.

i put for the london forces that it was relatively equal and negligible for both, because those forces only have great effect in nonpolar molecules. thought too much into it =/

Guys…simmer down. U really should wait just 2 days b4 getting into too specific stuff.

As for a very nonspecific answer to a nonspecific question:
A catalyst is a substance that lowers the activiation energy of a reaction as to provide an alternate pathway for the reaction to undergo.

Bad thread idea IMO.

You guys are just lower your own scores… and MINE!
but freeresponse was easier than the MC…
in my opinion, the MC was easy for a while… and then 1/2 way through my brain collapsed

I know! Part A, especially number 1, killed me. I couldnt even finish it. Number 2 was really easy, but I also had trouble on 3. But I felt really good about part B, but unfortunately thats not worth as much as Part A.
I’d be so happy if I passed!
