Anyone have any idea how parking would be for transfer bruin day? Was first thinking of flying there, but upon checking prices it might be just better to drive there. Really, would not like to deal with hectic parking though.

Are your parents going to Bruin Day?

No, I will be attending transfer day by myself. Hopefully I will see some of you on transfer day.

My mom will be coming with me.

I will be attending with my spouse

Will you guys be going all day since 8am? I’m still confused about it being both transfer bruin day and the other program for scholars

@Sonic23 Are you referring to transfer raza day

I wish I could go to Bruin Day, but that next week I have finals, so I can’t spare a day :-(

@collegedropout1 no to AAP portion from 8 to 1. Did you get the agenda/schedule for the day in the mail??

@Sonic, I haven’t received anything. I think it was because I registered late. I tried to sign up through UCLA’s website, but when I did it stated the applications were already closed, but then I remembered that they had sent me an email and it was through that, that I was able to sign up for AAP.

@toughTulip Nope. Just a sibling, and a friend or two.

@sonic23 I was thinking of getting there early to beat the traffic, but after reading up on past bruin day it seems like a mute point. Still try to get there early.

Did anyone else have to complete Music Group Interest 2014 survey? Is that survey required? I don’t even play an instrument, and not sure why I would have to complete the survey. I saw this survey after I completed New Student Orientation Educational Planner survey.

I signed up for the AAP portion but I still don’t understand what it is how and its different from transfer bruin day.

@Squashbanana yup me too i thought there would be a separate rsvp for transfer bruin day but i guess there wasnt.

I signed up for the TSA one for the overnight. Is that the same one as aap?

I don’t want to be there from 8 to 5…

Your terrifying me @oongaboonga
Hearing stories like that make me wish that I could afford a single.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if there are mini kitchens in the housing areas?
I’ve been to some universities where they have a mini kitchen in the ground floor, in a common area, or sometimes on every floor.

I will be at UCLA on Friday from 8am to 10pm, as well as Bruin Transfer Day on Saturday. Is it possible to get sick of UCLA on your first visit? I hope not

@OCaptnMyCaptn

I’ve heard from students there that the campus is so big, beautiful, and generally awesome that there’s something new to discover everyday.

Don’t know if it’s true, though lol

@Cayton, So I think My Sir got waived. Does your Housing Fee get waived too? Do I have to Sir to apply for housing?

No, @stanx89. You have to pay for the housing application. Thankfully, it’s only $30. I don’t know if you have to SIR to apply for housing…you should look on the housing application FAQ. I’d say that you’d probably have to SIR before doing the application, though.

Did anyone else get an email from the Polisci department at UCLA?
