@collegedropout1 yea I’m not to sure which one I will be getting after all since I’m planning on taking two sessions of summer school now. I want to transfer 70 units so that I don’t have to take 16 units every quarter to graduate in two years.

@cayton lucky! I might get one next payday i just don’t know which one to get yet

This is the one I got and I must say that it’s the best looking hoodie they have. It even has UCLA’s official seal, which, as you can see, is my avatar.

@cayton dam that one is nice! I was leaning towards navy blue rather than the light blue too, so this ones pretty much as legit as it gets with the seal and all. Yea now I kind of want to order it right now, maybe my cars can skip a wash this week(again) lol

Definitely! I too prefer the darker hoodies over the light blue ones. :)

What’s weird about the UCLA student store is that they have so many different products with the school’s brand on it…shirts, shorts, hoodies, coffee mugs…and even socks…and boxes of peanuts…they have everything with the school’s name on it that you can imagine.

@Cayton Yeah, I even saw UCLA duct tape, which was the weirdest. I really like the light blue sweater since it that is the color of the university.

@cayton I remember the day my and my spouse visited the campus for a tour the best part was us just walking around the store, its insane. The hats they have are so much better than the ones at Lids. They also have Hello Kitty UCLA stuff which we both thought was weird. I mean what the heck does that have to do with UCLA? lol

So far i bought a t-shirt and lanyard at the mall

Oh and liscenece plates i just dont know if i wassupooses to only get one? I got two for front and back plates but idk if that will look weird? ?

@k4201505 Just took a brief look at it, but it just seems like a really expensive way just to meet people. I don’t know anything about it, but at face value I don’t think it’s worth the time or money. There are plenty of free ways to meet people once on campus on your own time.

What are you guys gonna do for this summer break? Coming from semester to quarter system I have an exceptionally long break, and so far can’t think of stuff to do^^ Last two years my summers were occupied just going to school, it’s kind of weird to have such a long break from school.

@sonic23 Being concerned on where I sit on unit caps for UC I didn’t risk applying for summer school this year. Good on you on staying focused though.

This may sound a bit weird, but since most of my computer science classes syllabus is readily available online I might just get a head start on certain projects which would allow me to have more free time when I’m actually at UCLA. Then again, I’m getting lazy.

Is anyone going to be commuting?? I love about 25 miles away and I’m scared if I don’t move I will end up wanting to kill myself because of traffic

@sonic23 I think it depends on how many days a week you need to be in campus. If your classes were all on Tuesday and Thursday for example, it might be ok. If you need to be on campus 4-5 days a week, that could get rough.

I’m commuting, but I’m not too far. It should take 25-30 mins tops for me.

anyone submit their housing app yet? i think its so confusing/ hard to decide what to put down preference wise, cause there are sooo many options. also you need to submit a picture of yourself, which i find funny lol
