@collegedropout1 you will regret that choice quickly. You can always swap. They have open swaps every quarter. Plus, I believe, if you find a person willing to swap you could do it anytime.

Hello, new to the board. I got a triple at De Neve Gardenia/Holly. It wasn’t my first choice, but I did list it as an option (my last option). Oh well. May the Gods be with me when my roommates are chosen…

Just curious, is it mandatory to go to this UCLA orientation thinga ma jig? I know this where you can sign up for class and what not. But what if you do not go? When and where will you sign up? What are the benefits of going? I know the school pretty well, a lot of friends went there, and so did a sibling of mine. My sibling told me, she did not even bother going to it, but this was many years ago. Thanks!!

@tik1127 no it is not mandatory. It is helpful though you will be more aware of what classes to take.
however you don’t have to go I believe you can call admissions and let them know you can’t go and they will assign you an online date you can register for classes. you will probably have to go meet with a counselor before to discuss the classes you need.

delete

Is anyone on here an AAP student? Do you know when we’re supposed to hear about admission to the Summer Program, and when you can register for Orientation 202? Thanks.

dam I’m pretty upset i didn’t get the first orientation date. I had trouble getting anything. The page wouldn’t load and kept messing up when i would try to submit it

@sonic23 what dates were left?

AUg 8 and later both first seasons were gone. I had chosen the first session about 15 times but it kept showing an error occurred. Than before I knew it that was gone and the second one as well. So i Got 203 Aug 8.

has anyone else signed up??

i signed up for the first session

I chose 205 because I heard it really doesn’t matter what date you pick since they offer the same amount of classes at each orientation

I had the same issues, not that I didn’t expect that to happen lol. Ended up with the August 8th session.

I’m just going to pick the last date!

201

Session 201 in the club

Apparently you can pay 10 bucks to move up your orientation date. You need to call. Hurry tho! 201 is now full tho.

I just registered and Aug 1 was still available. 202. Not sure why it didn’t show up for people who registered before me…

@2016, is that one for the TSP? People were confused about that on the Facebook page.

201

I don’t know what TSP is. I just signed up for the regular transfer orientation. It was the only option I had.
