@jonjon03, I’m just watching ■■■■ on Netflix with my roommate. And that’s totally chill man hit me up anytime this week if you wanna hang!

@jonjon03

Definitely. I’m just here talking with roommates. And hey, off-campus apartments have their advantages too! You’ll have more privacy and it’s cheaper.

@Zalrons

That’s great, and I’ll be sure to go to that party lol

Are you guys going to the new student dinner tomorrow?

I thought it was mandatory

@CSB111

Maybe.

@k4201505

I doubt they’d be able to enforce that if it were mandatory.

What is this “mandatory” voluntary thing for tomorrow? There is no way I can make it to UCLA tomorrow…

It’s not mandatory, just highly encouraged.

The food at the new student thing was damn good lol.

Holy ■■■■ anthroflo lives on my floor!

@Zalrons

lol, interesting.

Wonder what made her choose UCLA over Berkeley.

Also, I’ve met @24luke16, which is pretty cool.

@Zalrons hahahahaha!

Lots of walking today, felt like the equivalent of going to an amusement park for the day. I’m not sure if I can go to the volunteer thing (not sure if I can wake up in time), but will try. Been looking around, those loft apartments are pretty nice and got a chance to peek in one of the dorms (not bad). Anyone else had a hell of a time finding target? I finally found it, never thought it be underground.

Also, I haven’t looked into it but why is anthroflo mentioned frequently.

@jonjon03

I basically walked around the entire campus for two hours or so to familiarize myself with it(At least somewhat, anyway) and to see the cool things that the school had to offer(There’s a great botanical garden and sculpture garden, if you’re interested). I get the feeling, though, that I’ll still get routinely lost for the next month or two.

Also, we mention @AnthroFlo a lot because she got into both LA and Berkeley and couldn’t decide which school to go to for months…she eventually chose LA.

@Cayton Maybe a good idea to look around campus, or at the very least scout out where class rooms are to some degree. I am also going to be lost routinely.

nice ppl but still feeling awkward and unwelcomed

I wish UCLA had a cool map app thing or something. Like it would pull up a map of campus alongside your schedule, then you click on a class in your schedule and it would highlight where that class is.

@RamonaFalls
I don’t think they have anything with your classes listed, but there is a UCLA map app that is interactive. you can enter a building name and it will show you where it is and tell you how to get there. you can also into something like “coffee” or “Mexican food” and it will tell you where you can find them on campus. It will tell you the closest parking lots and things like that.

You can enter something like “financial aid”, and it will tell you what building it is in, and how to get there. It also gives you information on each building or office including the office’s purpose, address, and phone number.

It’s a free app it’s called UCLA campus map.

@jonjon03

Definitely do that.

@Cayton

What’s up man did you move in? How are things going?

@cayton, at orientation she said it was for regents but at the chancellors meeting I overheard her say that her boyfriend broke it off with her so she decided to go to UCLA.

@CSB111, dude, I still can’t believe that she lives on the same floor as me.

Anyone else going to see Kill the Messenger tonight?!
