My DS loved some of the interviews, but not others.
Did not like SSAT prep.
Not of us are enjoying the wait.
Does anyone have insight to Westtown? I know it is past the deadline- we just found out about it.

Yes, it was DS’ school (George) main rival. I know many alums, and all loved it and the strong Quaker community. Because it has a lower school, it has strong local roots and students who continue through. Years ago, they required all students to board for a portion of high school but they discontinued that. (Worth knowing if you talk to older alums.)

I have a spreadsheet with my droids’ applied-to colleges listed, dates when results are expected, and a countdown for each. I am awful at coping with the wait! Dry January too was an exceptionally bad idea this year.

Yes, waiting is …not easy. Depending on the moment I wish time will hurry up and speed by so we don’t have to wait anymore and other times, I want time to slow down because I am not sure I ready to let my kiddo fly yet (provided we get good news on M10!) Lol, well, time will march on as it does, won’t it. trying to make the best of it.

Favorite is school visits - seeing what the different schools offer, facilities, students, etc.
Least favorite is the waiting - we did school visits early (October) so it seems like forever until 3/10!

Over the years, I’ve found that everyone has at least one topic or niche that they could spend forever talking about. Mine is history (and my friends don’t wanna hear me rant about historical paradoxes either). Luckily, I was able to include in a few essays.
I feel like we don’t have to completely disconnect from anything BS related. We can still talk about it and think about it as long as we don’t let it completely take over.

I did that test with my friends and got INTJ which is funny because that’s Architect and I’m studying architecture rn.

no i’m an entj! but 16personalities isn’t the official test and it’s pretty much considered inaccurate, try the sakinorva test : )
