Heyyy…coming to the Freakout Thread to freak out again. It’s funny how, until this week, I desperately hoped for March 10 to arrive. Now, I somehow wish that March 10 would never come so that I could live in my ante-March10 anticipation forever instead of facing the ‘brutal’ truth. 
But it’s good that we just have to…breathe for another 6*24 hrs until the results come out…yayy…!!

Honestly, it’s kinda weird because M10 has been such a big and important date in my mind for months. Now that it’s so close I’ve actually started thinking about the next big date and life post M10. It feels a bit less scary now that it’s so near, but that’ll probably fade on M9 when I start freaking out again

I thought that too at first. But wanted to separate it a bit from it being tied to the decision, so I parked it in the middle. Maybe even worth repeating in d-1! Ha

my mom has suddenly decided i cant go to anywhere but my top choice, so if i dont get in im screwed. what do i do 
(she doesnt want me going because she thinks im gonna get kidnapped or something)
Try to convince her, saying its better for your education and your development. She’s probably feeling the M10 madness/Empty nest syndrome.

get your school counsellor or advisor to talk to her with you. i would also recommend she does more research on the safety precautions taken at boarding schools.

she’s not; my mom is super strict and i kinda expected this to happen lol the top choice is in the city i’m originally from so we know people there but she thinks the others are all “random schools in the middle of nowhere” where i will “walk around alone and face the consequences” genuinely bizarre lol
