I qualified for the Nationals in a competition, should I update schools?
no, they’re mostly done with their decisions now (choate is and i’m assuming other schools are since it is march 5th already). if you get waitlisted, tell them then if you are interested in staying on the waitlist.

I disagree. It can’t hurt to reach out with an update about an accomplishment. It’s not going to change a “no” to a “yes” at this point, but there’s a chance it may change, say, a waitlist position.

Nationals in a sport that’s relevant at the school(s) and where you’ve been in previous contact w coach(es)? Then update coach. Otherwise
