How do you know choate is done with their decisions?
I think the assumption is that in order for packages to be sent to arrive 3/10 and emails drafted and portals updated to release 3/10, the decisions are 95%+ finalized by now.

i’ve been talking with my admissions officer and that’s what she said.

edit: thought i’d clarify that they’re almost done with their decisions and going through the final read-through stage rn according to the AO.

Does anybody know how Emma Willard’s admissions decisions will be sent? I can’t find anything online and they haven’t emailed me with any instructions. I also never got an email telling me my application was complete but I submitted everything.

What does it mean if I go into a schools portal and it says “Waived” for some of the materials submitted? Does that mean someone went into the application and waived those things off or like?
Was it like the application fee?
No it said my current grades which kind of worries me because 1) I definitely submitted that 2) How could a school admit me without knowing my current grades? And it was a couple other things too that were like optional grades and stuff. Maybe it’s a glitch but I’m worried

For example, this is what I mean like I know my math teacher sent in my recommendations like last year because it says that on the gateway website and I’ve spoken to her, but then it says today that it was updated and waived…???
Yeah I think I will in the morning because this is one of my top schools I’m not sure why they’re going through and waiving stuff that was already once as received
My DD28 didn’t get an acknowledgement that her application was complete either, but I could check in their portal to see that everything was submitted. We haven’t heard anything about how or when decisions will come out.

Hi! Last year, our daughter didn’t get a confirmation either and asked the admissions office in Feb and they said everything was fine.
On March 7 we got an email (student and parent) to access the portal via Blackbaud. Decisions were released in the portal on March 10 around midnight maybe?? I believe it was portal only because I cannot find a “congrats” email from them.

Usually waived means that you didn’t submit and they “waived” it off. I’m not sure what it means if your teacher submitted the LOR. Contact the admissions office.
i said that I wasn’t nervous about the decisions a couple weeks ago. that was a lie.

We just made sure my daughter had the logins set up in her phone as she’s going to be away M10. I think she’s been checking the portals often and she seems generally anxious. She has acceptances at two local day schools that she would be fine with, but she’s really hoping for a yes. And I’m over here pretending to be nonchalant and secretly constantly checking this forum and sad to admit, mail notif (that she doesn’t even know is a thing thankfully), ha. Apple…tree…I guess
