I’d recommend setting up a bookmark folder with your portals if you have a Mac. Then you can open all of them in five seconds by pressing open all.

Does anyone know what a lock symbol means on clarity? theres a lock next to andover and a day school i applied to. i already got accepted to the day school with fa. Does anyone else have the lock next to andover? what does it mean.
I believe everyone has it and it means Andover is need blind.

The only thing thats weird is that PEA and Groton doesn’t have locks even though they are “need-blind”.

Yes I did contact the admissions office and they basicalllyyy said they weren’t using it for the application I’m not sure why because it was a lovely recommendation, unless I misinterpreted them

We didn’t see any of the recommendation letters. It’s the one variable we can’t really get a sense of. Though some teachers asked for certain information to help them write it.
It really is. Though it was a recommendation for my math teacher and there’s not anything special to say about my math skills anyway. But i had another absolutely amazing personal/special interest recommendation so I’m hoping that helped instead!

For my personal recommendation, I used my previous year english teacher and she made me have a meeting with her before and during as she wrote my recommendation. No idea why. It was super awkward and all questions that could’ve been written in an email. But I guess she missed me, and I really needed someone who would make me sound much more amazing than I am. Afterwards she even said she hopes I get into Williston because she lives in the same town and wants to go out and get ice cream with me on a regular at a place nearby Williston/where she lives. All my recommendation experiences have been SO strange 
I feel like I would’ve been better off not knowing anything about my recommendations

i don’t know if any of the schools i applied to do send out packages but the clarity thing humbled me haha
No, I have been checking mail notifications and I have not gotten anything. But, I think that most notification starting showing on the 8th or the 9th. I actually just got an email.
oh wow!! what school was it if you don’t mind? i say this b/c one of mine is releasing early and idk what to expect lol
PEA has a lock on my Clarity site.
maybe we should chill a little with the clarity astrology cuz no one really knows what it means

Sorry, but I do not think that I can say.
I think that the lock might mean that ur accepted because i dont have a lock for PEA. but for a school that already accepted me and gave fa theres also a lock.
Lock has nothing to do with acceptance. It has to do with the school not allowing edits to your financial aid application. You can technically edit your application after you submit even today, but schools can ‘LOCK’ what you’ve submitted, so any edits you make won’t affect the application they received.

If people are really worried or curious about the lock thing on clarity, I think they should email clarity or something. idk
