Basically Top 100 there is some pretty good school outside of the elite boarding schools

I had a error in my grade transcripts last year where it had a F in one of my classes and I didn’t find out about it until after the admissions but I still got into the waitlist, but I’m pretty sure I won’t even get a w/l from the schools where I got a w/l from last year. (Sorry if my english isn’t englishing, I’m tired)
I want to get into Emma Willard so bad!! My interview was so bad though, it was like 20 minutes and the interviewer joined late because she went longer with a whole other applicant. It also felt like she wasn’t listening to me or didn’t cared what I had to say, hopefully my application can carry me but if i don’t get in then I guess it just wasn’t the right fit.

I got rejected from Williston although I think I have everything fine. I guess I didn’t fit with Williston.

Maybe you were such a good applicant they did it cause they knew you weren’t gonna attend anyway

dude what. THATS CRAZY- you even explained to the ao’s and they said they understood. Even in the obsolete universe you don’t get in, it’s the school’s losses because you’re ivy league bound.
it be like that, I just wish I had a better interview.
Funny thing is last year I applied to Exeter, Groton, Middlesex, St Paul, Concord Academy, and St Marks I got in none of them( waitlist by CA) and I am doing fine. Also remeber this isn’t college it won’t dramatically shift your life. ( Bad grammar)

My interview at another school also ask which football/soccer team I support and who is my favorite player
Naw but like I have 0 other options for school, because my current HS which was ranked top 8 in the state of MA is prob going to drop AT LEAST 10 spots because we’re getting rid of 5 APs, the Honor Program, the AP test waiver program, and at least 15 teachers. Along with that we’re losing like millions of dollars in the teachers salary, our athletics program, our arts program, and other things
And ALL THE NEW TEACHERS are colleges grads so they have no idea how to teacher (Number 1 reason my Q1 math grade was messed up was because she just graduated from college…shes only 6 years older than me which is crazy AND SHE DOESN’T TEACH).
I am also in MA lol, my high school didn’t drop but my school district was almost drop out of top 10, and I don’t like my high schools environment even though it top in MA

That is CRAZY. My history teacher and my English teacher are very harsh on grading and people say I got the worst pair for freshman☠️, I got 2 B’s because of this
