I’m so done with my current school, me and my parents were discussing about moving away but all the other MA schools are going to go down too (Newton’s teacher strike etc). I was thinking of dropping out and just pursue music but like I spent too much time on math to just give up on it. The MA public education system has been going down ever since covid.

My middle school used to be 2nd in MA now it not even in top 10☠️
in my defense i didn’t know that i was lying at the time
i had no idea MA schools were going through this, i thought they had the best school system in the country.
Also for math try use Khan academy it will cover stuff you don’t understand probably
Homeschooling is a option maybe but both my parents are immigrants so they have 0 idea about the education in the US (Dads also a professor at a uni in Boston so he isn’t always at home so thats another problem). Ohs can be something I consider but I’m not sure about it, a D in math is going to ruin me

This is true. Y’al just called me out in a million different languages. (missed deadlines for state science fair I forgot to submit I felt so dumb)

Well I finished all the way up to Calc, the reasons I’ve been doing so terribly is because I used “outside material” or I use theorems/postulates/formulas that I’ve learned outside of school…and its only my teacher who enforces this rule. She doesn’t even teach us so no one in the class is doing well except 3 kids who have private tutors who works with the teacher…like the “teaching” is handing us a piece of paper of the standard math class and saying good luck
