Today my decision for a day school comes at 5 PM PST… wish me luck!

A lot of people reapply because they only apply to the top schools expecting to get in, but the best option to to apply to a wide variety of schools (Safeties, Matches, Targets, Reaches)
i need a lot of FA.

I wish I had recalled that sooner.
Yeah, last year I applied to the top 5 schools expecting to get into at least 1 because of the music directors advocating for me but I did not. This year I applied to 2 safeties/matches along with 10 targets/reaches.
yeah last year i got into my safeties but not enough FA. I got waitlisted at my “matches” and rejected at PA and waitlisted at PEA (reaches).
are u applying as a 9th or 10th grader
10th, repeating a grade isn’t the best option for me.
I got waitlisted from Milton (Without a interview and I applied on Jan 10th so it was a surprised), W/L from PEA, W/L Doorfield, and rejected PA and Choate.
Why not? At PEA and PA around 30-40% are reclassed students.

same for me about Milton, I didn’t even know it was a top school when I applied. My dad just suggested i do it, didn’t expect anything.

I feel like I’m going to get rejected again from all my schools Like the music directors and some interviewers said they would “Advocate for me” but my Q1 math grade prob got me knocked out of round 1 even though I have like international math/national math competitions that would probably cover for it

worse part about being waitlisted is that I thought I really fit well in the schools, and i lowkey ig-stalked some of the students lol. But then i thought about the amount of FA i need and how it might not be feasible for them.
Yeah same here. Like I know some of the students at my top school and they sit behind me in my Youth Orchestra even though I’m like 2-3 years younger than them (Like in my YO I’m ahead of college kids at Harvard and stuff too )
