can someone link me to past october curves?

Can someone explain how to do the standard deviation problem? Was so lost on that one.

would you guys say that memorizing all of those trig identities and what not is more than essential?

@russgenious
anything within 3 standard deviations of the mean contains 99.7% of the population. the question gave, I think, 5 standard deviations from the mean - the answer is clearly E, above 99%.

@chillypenguin
trig identities are pretty fundamental stuff that you should not be ignoring if you are serious about taking Math II. they’re quite simple anyway…

guys what were recent curves
do you guys think the curve is good for this test?

I’m so nervous about scores…

^ yeah karatekid, everyone is.

Do we get scores Thursday at 5am (same time as regular SAT)?

Yes. Fingers crossed.

West Coasters can see them at 2:00, right?

I think so. It’s 5 eastern time.

omitted 5, missed 2 - please get 800 with nice curve! im standing at a 43/50 D:

About to go to bed. Getting my score in the morning. Fingers crossed for an 800… I only counted 1 that I missed, possibly 2, but then again, we didn’t go over most of them. I just don’t want to expect 800 and then get a 750.

People at school will hate me if I get a 790 and then am sad about it.

I HATE MY LIFE… Staying up for my scores ■■■

good luck everyone

Wohoo I’ve got an 800 after doing only 3 prep tests on sparknotes! I am so happy :)

800!!! Yes!

Edit:

Now that I’m a bit calmer, I can actually celebrate with finishing my chem homework.

Oh my goodness, though… I was really worried about math because I’d really like to go to an engineering college, and their average math score is WAYYYYY up there.

I’m beyond happy. All that stress if finally lifted off! No more subject tests, no more SATs, finally!

770 10char

Is 780 okay for biochem major?

800

The curve must been great. I left 3 blank and at least 3 wrong (-7).
My friend left 5 blank and got some wrong, but still 800.
