<p>Just a word of advice… if you’re planning to apply to the Ivies next year DO NOT APPLY FOR ECONOMICS/FINANCE/POLITICS (over 50% of applicants apply to these departments so the odds of getting in are even smaller). Go for an Engineering/Science degree as your major and something unconventional as a minor (Classics, Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Slavic Languages and Literature…). </p>

Did any of you get the final call from LUMS SSE ?the site says final decisions are ‘mailed out’ by 21st April.Do they notify via email?</p>

<p>and are the rejectees notified too???SSE ppl are not picking up the phone and driving me crazy!</p>

<p>if i remember correctly, last year a lot of people had to personally go to Lums or call them to find out the SSE decision</p>

<p>I think Lums should concentrate on the current projects instead of starting a med school. Its better to have a good management/engineering school instead of 3 mediocre schools. It’ll be stretching their funding abit too far if they plan on starting med aswell. Why not use that money in research, lab upgrades or scholarships etc.</p>
