How do you quote someone’s reply? [ /quote]. Remove the space in the second bracket… And it would look like

I am…

@theGame

You were right bro… SSE really favors A levels stream students than F.Sc…

OK long time …there are some confusions…

@Jalal, Game: the aid I was talking about was from CMU-Qatar, not LUMS SSE. Sorry I forgot to mention that. And as for how much, parents+student contribution is $4k, which I think is pretty sweet :D

@Jalal: For SSE FinAid, you have to first accept the LUMS Offer, after which ensues the long process of need verification, in which LUMS officials might even visit your house :slight_smile: or conduct personal audits. Imperative that there is very less chance of faking, but hey, its south asians we’re talking about, only behind China when it comes to faking !

@Karpov: Khan watches Office, but if you ask me, I would only watch the office if:

1)I had not known about watching free episodes of every TV show online
2)I would run out of good TV shows
3)I didn’t have internet access and was stuck on star world
4)I felt like torturing myself
5)I loved steve carell (actually the office has planted a character stereotype of him in my mind…I couldn’t watch little miss sunshine/evan almighty because of this)
6)I faced a number of reasons similar to the above…

maybe I don’t know about it much, but thats how i felt after watching 2 random episodes of the office…

oh and…

@Game: It was about 3 years ago when GP was compulsory, at least in the FC campus in Peshawar. Even they are over it now.

And the new campus “Bani Gala”…doesn’t the name sound familiar to something we all enjoyed on youtube, guys? :D

ohkay, since we’re on the topics of TV shows (my speciality :D), i thought i’d list my top 5. The ‘comedy’ shows arent included, otherwise it’d be an unending list.

24>Lost>Heroes>Prison Break>90210.

P.S, Flibb, what’d you mean by Bani Gala-youtube connection. I smell something fishy. ;P

School of Sciences and Electrical Engineering

SDSB/SHSSL

Boohoo

90210? seriously man.
ps
had to break the rule to include the office

I said strictly non-comedies. Otherwise, you’ll just have to stick FRIENDS up there, no questions asked. Really.

And as for 90210, call it my guilty pleasure. In that i’m not proud of watching it, but what the hell, it’s something different! :D

i went to lums the other day…it’s in mourning!

offer fatiha for waheeb alam who lost his life to a bunch of drunkard bastards…!

loading…

[Crisis for new exams designed to replace GCSEs and A-levels - Telegraph](<a href=“Crisis for new exams designed to replace GCSEs and A-levels”>Crisis for new exams designed to replace GCSEs and A-levels)

unfortunately lums is full of drunkards and druggies aswell :/

I saw the pictures of the land cruiser which crushed his car…really sad

^Plain pathetic. Worst of all, he will get away from being tried in court - only like a Pak MNA can. He can’t run away from God’s justice ultimately, however hard he may try.

@Hunter: Heard rumors that a Karachiite Beaonite got full scholarship from Oxford. So your chances are slim to none (sorry to put it that bluntly, but that’s what I think). But you never know - prayers can make a lot of difference. Actually, the difference. So keep hoping and praying.

@ TheGame

which scholarship did he get?? coz the ones Offered by Oxford will release their results in late may and late August… get the confirmed info and thn do let me know.

@jalal: Didn’t apply to SSE, but from what I know, aid is need-based. 5-7 students currently at SSE are on 80%+ FA, so it is possible. However, you need to

Demonstrate your need persuasively through an essay;

Fulfill all their documentation demands; and

Pass the phone-tapping cross checks.

If you can do that, or your bro, I am sure he’ll get aid. No need for fake documents etc.

@Prospectus786: Join the class of 2014 thread and help calm down two screaming she-males :D

@Zapoo: I was right and wrong all along. Your instructional skills are admirable, btw

@flibb: Sweeet deal indeed. Can’t put that down, now, can you?

@Karpov:
