The official Pakistani Thread for the class of 2013

About this exchange program, how do you apply or is it some selection committee and is it only available in a few schools?
Just wondering, although my school days are ending sigh

If YES (by iEARN Pakistan) is what you’re talking about, here you go:

DUDE, GAME! why don’t you have this information before?? Ahh i shudve applied :(

Sorry man. Thought everyone’s best friend was Google.

Don’t curse too loud. The age limit is 15-17 yrs. It’s for…kidz :D

@theGame

I went through YES…its an awesome program…you get so much to learn and see like nowhere else…it has got a drawback though…academically you have to sacrifice a year of yours… because the credits you take in US don’t count here:(… otherwise I would have been graduating with all you guys this year:-P

@talha_adnan

I was one of mentors for this year’s outgoing batch…and your cousin was in my group!

@theGame

17years is not a kid:P

Not an adult either :p

Btw I got to travel 18 states…including almost all big cities…and that is the highest number of states traveled by any Pakistani YES student:-P lolz

that whole paragraph made me all comfortable again :wink: i wouldn’t have applied if that’s what it takes although it must be an exciting experience. I sure as hell can’t sacrifice a school year. My batch is nice, my juniors suck and I simply want to be 2 years senior to my younger brother lol.

@theGame

come on 17 is adult…may be not officially:-P

NYU is opening in Abu Dhabi in fall 2010 - something which really excites me! Have a look at their FINANCIAL AID POLICY:

@joiya550

I wish you had seen what’s the experience like…you have definitely said YES…you want to be two year senior to your younger brother…if that is what would have stopped you…you could have sent him on the same program as well;-P

Well guys Williams’ reply due Friday. Middlebury on Saturday and then the dreaded Ivies on Tuesday. Btw any of you guys applied to the Ivies or am I the only one going to face their wrath.
