<p>My cousins got stellar admits man! She’s in at Michigan, MIT, Caltech, UChicago, Northwestern(BA/MD), USC(BA/MD), and Duke (A.B Duke scholars Finalist) I am so jealous! </p>
<p>@theGame- you have definitely seen the 20% of LAS, not everyone is like that. I am pretty sure I can find you people like that at KGS, KAS, and Aitchison! Plus I enjoy drag racing, in fact I wrote my essays on that, what’s so wrong about racing? How about half the Aitchisonian’s who drop out of Aitchison and go poison other schools, I think these are the people you are talking about. The guy(s) who got my class on drugs/alcohol was from AC!</p>

<p>theGame I do it far from residential areas usually Phase 6/7 Defense! I am sorry on the behalf of all the rude racers in Islamabad, I have witnessed it quite a lot since I used to live there! However those were definitely not LAS students, maybe ISOI!</p>
<p>The scene at LAS is also something to behold. Girls and guys huddled close together, holding their hands, and occasionally touching each others’ lips. Nothing close to LACAS (where the AC boys gather) or PAKistan! It’s an American HS altogether.</p>
<p>@theGame: not to be rude, but you are definitely very ignorant about what LAS is all about, typical, I cannot blame you since thats the image people draw of the students there! There is a line between being rich and being immoral, right? Also you are going to the US so I mean might as well grow up about the huddling, kissing and holding hands!</p>
<p>Hopefully you do not believe what you hear, all three of my brothers went and graduated from LAS, non of them do any of those things! Plus, I believe people who go to schools like Aitchison and LGS are more likely to take part in such acts. LGS girls tend to be more hyper around guys, and same goes for AC guys,(acting like they have never seen the opposite sex before) at least the ones I know which are A LOT! </p>
<p>However, since I was there for 14 years of my life believe me there is no “kissing” or “hand holding.” Yes they have fun, but please have you ever seen the ******bags huddled outside CTC, HotSpot? THEY are definitely not LAS students. Ever heard of ASIA, Cardinal?</p>
<p>Plus I doubt you have heard stories about what goes on inside AC’s boarding houses? I was at Summer School three years in a row with guys from Aitchison slobbering and obsessing about girls (all they talked about), real mature. I am pretty sure Roots isn’t any better.</p>

<p>@determined8899: My point is that AC is not as bad as it is projected. And LAS is much worse than its public image. Just MY OPINION - doesn’t need to be correct, just like yours. So people like shoukat55 should not bothering “correcting” it.</p>
<p>okay, definitely I am not aware of the Lahore scene, but the fact remains guys, we need to be tolerant of different people at different places. Roots…has all sorts of people, including the aforementioned, and also, VERY sober people.</p>
<p>Well as far as the boarding house stories go, nothing happens there. Thats the reason they’re called stories. The borders in Aitchison are genuinely afraid of the boarding houses in schools like Chand Baagh etc.
And the boys you’re talking about who ‘poison’ other schools are usually kicked out of Aitchison and have nothing more to do with us. That is the reason they were kicked out. LAS is just into the money making business and so, accepts the students who were deemed not worthy enough to study in Aitchison. They are officially LAS students, not Aitchisonians. I do have a few friends in LAS but the majority is usually spoilt or are too stuck up to start a conversation with. They just seem to think of others as less worthy basing judgments on wealth. I can assure you this doesn’t happen in Aitchison. Although most are weird around girls, its natural as most of them have been educated from the start in a boys only school unlike LAS where everything is open. In choueifat where I studied before coming to Aitchison, boys and girls had a separate time for swimming. In LAS they all swim together so the mind set between us and LAS is way different. I’m not saying all aitchisonians are good or all LAS students are bad. Its just that we have a completely different mind set which i think is required so that we maintain a certain sense of modesty. My friend in LAS, when he went to college in Canada was soo used to the party scene that he just fit in with all the drinking going on.</p>
