@dark_angel: LOL kya hua? I never said they have backdoors (which they most probably have since it is in Pakistaaaaan) inside scoop, as in ACTUAL decisions ki date kya hai etc etc :P

Carnegie Mellon isnt an ivy but God Damn id love to go there… Some one told me they dont admit non us residents, which doesnt make much sense since its not a state school or gov funded. Any truth in that?

Guys now that we are done with all the acceptances, why dont we talk about something constructive like the visa process, and yeah I am worried about another thing. How big a drop in grades would make the college reconsider their admission offer and have you ever known any kid or heard of one who got his admission offer rescinded due to poor grades…BTW i got into Colgate…FULL RIDE!!!

well, firstly let me just say that I just signed up on CC, so I am pretty new to this…and I think I copied the list from a post which wasn’t the latest which is why it seems that I have removed other acceptance. I apologize for that, and hope that this clears things up.

On a different note, this is quite a big year for choueifat, as you all know we don’t usually get into the best places. I think it was five years ago, that we had an acceptance from upenn, six years ago from stanford, ten years ago from chicago & harvard. So it’s a pretty big deal for us.

Okay, cornflakes1, we’ll take your word for it. But remember, trust is easy to lose buddy.

Anyway, copy the latest list and re-add Choueifat’s acceptances. Please remember to change the overall number of accepted people to a particular university when you add a certain number from your school (e.g. Ohio Wesleyan - 4 (LAS) would become Ohio Wesleyan - 5 (4 LAS, 1 Choueifat).

Sorry for any trouble our cynicism may have caused.
