I applied to all three :D

Oh, thanks guys! But I’m not really keen on Furman since it’s a little stingy with aid. :P

dear pakipower,
if i ever saw you in real life, i swear i’ll take your head and put it up your butt.
sincerely,
qwerty.

P.S. try not to pay much attention to this now paki.

@qwerty11 – I appreciate some criticism, well some
I don’t mind though :)

@mathsfreak – http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/massachusetts-institute-technology/1101922-official-2015-rd-results-thread-post12165917.html#post12165917 you can see my credentials here, they’re a bit weak since I didn’t get much training on SAT, I gave TOEFL though, also I tried my level best but couldn’t get much extracurricular opportunities, I utilized whatever I could. Thank you, I believe this is a wonderful forum. Were you and “freakozoid” both offered alum interviews from Princeton/Cornell?

@freakozoid — You’re from Roots yeah? I heard it’s an awesome place, if only I had known of the place earlier, I’d have definitely went there, instead of staying in Abu Dhabi for A-Levels (all A-Level schools suck in this country). I’m from a school where NO ONE has ever applied to an Ivy League school (my counselor said the only person who had applied to a “big” school prior to myself was the daughter of my school’s superintendent, she applied to MIT and graduated from there in 2008. Congrats on getting into Furman though, I understand how aid is such a big determinant for people like us. I’m in the same boat though, I won’t have hassles in choosing my options if accepted, what would matter the most to me would be the financial aid.

@SpeedyZ – nice to see you on the forum as well. Hope we all get accepted there. :D

@pakipower – Just don’t be super-nervous about results, everything will be great regarding UChicago. You’re from Karachi? I’m from there as well, which area do you happen to live in? :)

^wasnt criticizing. just pointing out a mistake thats all. and that even cuz i found it kinda funny. :)

chillax dudexx ( Pakipower and qwerty ) and Murtaza your stats are not bad at all… they are at my level and I dont consider mine that bad … I mean they arent good but not that bad either

check your inbox. :)

metal, which question did you do in the uchicago supplement?

lmao, could someone ever suck as much as this? [YouTube - Hitmarker Fail](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

the 5th one … i posed a question about how a common pakistani hasnt been able to define his identity, etc

@pakipower – I didn’t receive anything in the inbox :S

@qwerty11 – It’s all good man
So tell more about yourself? You from Lahore?

I saw this video right after getting my MIT decision, it cheered me up, [YouTube - Hitler gets rejected from college](<a href=“Hitler gets rejected from college - YouTube”>Hitler gets rejected from college - YouTube)

^^ very interesting. this identity crisis is a relatively new phenomenon and, in my opinion, has developed because of a lack of appreciation us Pakistanis have for our history and culture. a significant segment of the pakistani population lives in a place that’s absolutely divorced from reality, with one poster here believing that his ancestry wasn’t Indian, because, listen to this, he’s from kashmir lol.

again, very interesting. i really hope we both get in. it would be a pleasure to discuss such issues with you. good luck metal! :)

^^ haha, i’ve seen that one. gotta love YouTube. :D

did you get it now?

would anyone care to chance me for uchicago in the meantime?

you are in :P

never-mind. i’m just making myself more anxious by doing this lol.

being a US citizen certainly helps… your SAT score is great so are your grades… with a strong essay I think you have a decent shot :)

ACCEPT!

yea murtaza i’m from lahore.

so paki the fight between us is personal now? i mean you cant help quoting me in your posts now.
