<p>pakipower, I don’t know much about UChicago, so could you tell me how it is with aid? I’ve heard it’s quite stingy. Plus my friend from Stanford EPGY (an Indian) applied EA to UChicago and got in, but didn’t receive aid from them as ‘funds were limited’.</p>

<p>^ It is stingy from what I’ve read. But if they really want you they will give you the aid. There are many internationals at UChicago on aid. It’s really odd that they accepted him without offering any aid though. That rarely happens. :/</p>

<p>Don’t really know much else, since I’m an applicant myself. Plus, I’m considered a Domestic applicant for aid purposes, so I have no idea how Foreign Citizen aid applications are judged. </p>

<p>No, I didn’t. Ran out of the 20 college space on the CommonApp. Plus, it doesn’t offer Engineering.
And oh yeah, I forgot that you’re a US citizen. My bad. Did you submit the FAFSA to your colleges as well?</p>

They had an optional essay … so I didn’t submit any … is that seen as a good thing or bad ? the essay was that we had to describe some tradition that was important to us or something like that…</p>
