Oh and it’s up to you to make the UC Casanova Thread next month lol. I could see that being a major thread here haha.

I’m late! Goodness, I’m so mad at myself. I was all happy about UCSD and was planning on going in the fall, and then I just HAD to go hang out at UCLA and fall in love all over again! Sheesh!

lol evan! I knew you’d join in on the late night discussion. What do you think of the group tour idea?

I’m glad I already got into every UC I applied to. Now I get to laugh at you overachievers worrying about getting into Berk or LA. Screw you Im a complete slacker who hasn’t done **** and I’m going to a University which is… 5 miles from me. The reason? Less work. I’m sure I’ll regret going to UCI over UCLA someday, but playing video games all night, never getting enough sleep, never studying, and not doing homework was kind of fun.

I’m sure I’ll have to step it up next term. I’m laughing at you now, but I don’t have ANY study habits and I’ve been getting by based off of stuff I knew since middle school(I was a bright and hard working 12 year old) so I’m basically ****ed ohh well.

i want to visit cal, and i’m pretty sure i’d learn a lot more visiting with you guys than i would with most other people lol (minus friends who already go there…who may be giving me misleading info just to get me to go there lol)

in general, California is considered one of the nicest places in the world to live.

I’m in orange county very close to UC Irvine. I’m in an area with low crime rates, I’m close to the beach, 1.5 miles from the orange county fair… weather is excellent here, I’m technically in a desert(very very little rainfall) but due to the ocean, I usually have a mild breeze and cool weather.

temps in the winter get as low as 40F at night, but are usually in the low to mid 60s(16-19C) during the day. during the summer, it usually is in the low to mid 70s(21-25C) I love where I live and don’t really want to move. I plan to stay in coastal southern california as long as I can(between ventura[by santa barbara] and san diego)

You serious effin ■■■■■.

Noone cares about you. Go to UCI and go away.

“temps in the winter get as low as 40F at night, but are usually in the low to mid 60s(16-19C) during the day. during the summer, it usually is in the low to mid 70s(21-25C) I love where I live and don’t really want to move.” - xelink

Sounds exactly like (east) bay area weather lol.

I think the Tour idea is cool. I mean, my spring break is now- but i’m headed home to San Diego from LA this afternoon. Anyone wanna cruise down to La Jolla? go Tritons? Ha ha.

Oh, and I rubbed the nose of the Bruin at UCLA for good luck on the admissions front! I know it’s “luck” for finals and freshman or something, but I figured “…what the hell?!” :D

Evan…how was UCLA?
I am sure it was beautiful…

I think that UCLA is my first choice right now. It changes everyday. I drive myself insane.

Stunning! I love the campus. On my BlackBerry, I rotate wallpapers. Today its UCLA’s logo, and some days it is UCSD’s! Ha ha!

you’re just upset because I don’t rant and rave over Berkely and LA like Everyone else here does. They’re better schools. I don’t care. The reason why people who graduate from them tend to do better is because the people who go there are on the whole better people in terms of qualifications. Take the same person and stick them elsewhere else somewhat comparable and they’ll probably do about the same in their career paths. I’m getting this straight from the horses mouth. Employers care more about accomplishments and past work experience than a name. They don’t care if you went to cal tech when the guy next to you went to CSUF, got into a high position fortune 50 company and cut their expenses a few million and drove sales simultaneously. This is coming from a guy who says he regrets spending money on ivy league.

^“Employers care more about accomplishments and past work experience than a name.”

True dat. Says the guy who worked in corporate America for 10 years before going back to skewl.

The only reason I’m upset is because you keep posting your rationalizations for attending UCI.

It has nothing to do with UCLA or UCB.

what do UCLA and UCB have to do with a thread called “The Official UC Transfer Late-night Discussion Thread”?

what is your rationalization to spamming a late night discussion thread with a debate of weather a well armed bruin could beat a bear in a head-on fight?

3rd prize is you’re fired

csudh is a uc right?

^ No, dood…if it was, it would be UC-DH, not CSU-DH.

lol sorry I know. The thread was getting a little ridiculous so I just put that to be stupid.

Holy crap I’m so freakin overwhelmed. I’m so ready to just give up this semester guys haha. Why am I letting myself be overwhelmed! I’m transferring! Jeez… Freakin work at 8 am tomorrow till 11, then anthro midterm at 11:10, then work again, then engineering class at night (haven’t done the hw yet for eng. either. Then on Wednesday, 8am Chemistry midterm, then 2 hr break, then precalculus midterm. The homework for both classes are due before the midterm and I don’t have it done yet. I don’t have enough time in my day!! Wish i was a vampire.

@ emilsinclair - dude I’m so down to go to UCB next week! My spring break starts on April 5, though technically, my last day of classes is April 1. I kinda wish my spring break coincided with Cal day, but whatever. Its probably better to see UCB on a normal day anyways.

@ Kernl - haha that’s true, Irvine is beautiful. The thing I can’t get out of my head about irvine is the super white, super wide freeways around it haha. That really amazed a person who grew up around santa clarita’s clogged 5 freewayl
