@mrsdejonge Yes, I recommend not rushing. But this is coming from an engineering major who has no idea how difficult/easy a full load of liberal arts classes is. I’ve taken >20 units a semester of all science/math courses and continued to carry a 4.0, but I’m excessively dedicated (i.e. nerdtastic and a social misfit).

Victoria is someone whose experience you might want to consider, given your areas of study are more similar and she is a 1 year transfer.

EmpathyInAnarchy- under my skirt? hmmph! girls can wear belts too.
well bestie, my terribly low GPA has got me feeling insecure about striking gold with UCLA again, plus being rescinded doenst help your self-esteem either.

Your GPA has fallen since then? I thought you were rescinded for not getting your transcripts in on time, right? So assuming you didn’t get into UCLA by luck, you should be in again.

EmpathyInAnarchy- no my GPA has actually significantly risen (upward trend) BUT its not competitive enough (in my opinion)
I got rescinded for not passing my math class but i took a math class in the fall and Aced that b i t c h :)

yeah but some people can’t achieve some things. telling you that you can’t is only a reality check. laker was just a ■■■■■. granted, i think jane can make it into LA; i’m just saying that there are plenty of people in high school where the counselors spout crap about “if you try and apply yourself hard enough, you can go to xxxx” when in reality they’re going to make it. some people just aren’t smart enough.

Lakersforever24, i am glad you came to that wonderful conclusion.
i am actually happy with this new found Laker boy. he is my friend…
lol did i just say that?
