Hmm…I didn’t get that from College Board. If there is a delay, I believe they’ll just put a hold on your registration.

I think it is only for people that requested their scores during June 13th-July 1st. I’m not even using my AP’s for any requirements or anything, but I am just worried my admission will get cancelled or something like that because of the delay.

@skg1012 If it IS an issue, they’ll give you time to explain/fix the problem. I was almost rescinded because one of my CCs sent a transcript late, the scary looking email that threatens to cancel your admission tells you who to contact, how much time you have, etc. If you’ve already alerted admissions about the issue and you’ve asked CollegeBoard to send the scores, you should be fine.

In the same exact boat. Did your admissions officer reply yet? If yes, what was the reply? Mines out on business till the 19th :(

@ccecontrans
I ended up just contacting the admissions office for some answers because I got too anxious and couldn’t wait for my admissions officer to respond. But the representative that I did talk to said that it was fine?? I’m still waiting on a more definite answer from my admissions officer though. I’ll let you know if my admissions officer gets back to me sooner than 19th.

Thanks for the info! I contacted the admissions office today too and this what someone replied, “Because we historically have experienced delays in receiving archived AP scores during the summer, we are not blocking students due to not receiving their AP scores. Additionally, you did not list your AP scores on your UC application, so we do not need the scores for verification purposes.” then in the email she just told me to double check what my admissions officer has to say when she comes back. so its looking good for us right now!

has anyone heard back from miller scholars program? in the verification email, they told me the decision would be coming out by the end of this month.

I haven’t heard back yet either :-w

Hey, all you slackers! How about TRIPLE majoring? It can be done, lol. :)) :))
http://blog.admissions.berkeley.edu/2012/06/triple-majoring-faqs/ :-&

@lindyk8

Triple majoring sounds like a great way to develop gray hair early.

@lindyk8 Why would anyone want to do that?

A big part of being successful in life is having a high EQ (emotional quotient). It, more than IQ, really determines success, as it shows how well you can work with people and teams, and how good you are at reading ppl. If I were a headhunter, I would seriously question the viability of a person who triple majored - unless they were in a field that was very Stephen Hawking-ish.

I regret I didn’t apply to Berkeley. Thought I would be automatically rejected but on this thread I’ve seen quite many applicants got accepted without completing some major prerequisites.

This thread is pretty dead now.

Did anyone get their housing offers yet? I heard those for Channing-Bowditch did.

Ugh, that’s where I wanted to live.

@ocnative @fontanita

Were either of you both selected for the Miller scholarship? I unfortunately was not but was selected for SSS, which was probably not as selective.

@oongaboonga

I wasn’t selected for the Miller Scholarship, only SSS also.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t selected for the Miller either. But a great friend of mine is a Miller scholar. So happy for him!

Congrats to your friend!!

@ocnative Dang it, Channing Bowditch was my first choice. :(

Well, I could be wrong ;)) someone on the FB group just mentioned that Channing-Bowditch offers were being released. It could not be all of them
