@Schmitty3333 you seem to have a good chance!!! Maybe take the SAT??

@Schmitty3333 There is no need to take SAT. You should be a high match for LSA and a low reach for CoE as oos applicant. Your GPA is just below admission average.
@frenchgal You should be an easy match for LSA as in state student.

@billcsho Which of my standardized tests do you recommend retaking to higher my chances?

@Frenchgal Just retake the one you scored higher on

@frenchgal Are you sure you want to retake any? Your ACT is at the 75% and you are from in state. Your ACT is slightly better than SAT in composite and also better distribution.

[ *] major strength/weakness: CR of SAT and GPA are my weaknesses. I think my EC’s are pretty okay.
[ *] Other Factors/questions: Should I take the ACT?

@ehello129 Being a female applying to CoE would have some advantage, however, your SAT is low for CoE (particularly CR score). Your GPA is also below average. As an oos student, CoE would be a reach for you. Even LSA would be a reach as your SAT is below 25% and GPA is below admission average.

@billcsho‌ thank you for your input! would it be helpful to take the ACT? Also could my EC’s be a deciding factor or does University of Michigan look at scores more?
